I think Valentino is in love with Lindsey. It's obvious. If she had more confidence in herself she would see it.
That being said, he will never get her if he doesn't drop the Valentino facade and just be Michael with her. Lindsey is a sincere person. Nobody enjoys being a gigolo as much as he says he does and he is wearing extremely rose colored glasses for the interview. He is trying very hard to paint a certain public picture of himself which is fine but it's time for him to be real with Lindsey. At the end of the day, he gets money to have sex with strangers and I don't care who you ask it is a shit job. He has to have days where he hates it and wishes he did something else. I doubt he still wants to have that job once his daughter gets old enough to understand what he does. He is also beyond due giving Lindsey an explanation of who Lizzy is. Why would Karen do both of their hair if she wasn't his wife? I really don't get that vibe at all but if she is his wife, whether he truly loves her or not, he is a jerk. If she isn't his wife, then why be so secretive?
Gotta say Michaels whole over the top Valentino routine was pissing me off in this chapter. The photo shoot and everything he said came off as fake. And then that whole comment about the shower don't even get me started.
Lindsey is letting lust cloud her judgement and emotions too much. She needs to get laid, not necessarily with Valentino though.

You are correct on so many levels. It hopefully will make sense in the next chapter or two max. I promise. Does it make his actions right? No but it pulls it together more. You are correct there are two personas Valentino and Michael. Valentino is a facade but deep down Michael exists and that's where the sensitivity comes from and surfaces. The qualities of Michael hits lindsey's heart but the physical allure of Valentino has her libido in a tizzy she's too blind to see beyond that like you said. Thanks for the review

That was a great chapter, poor Lindsey, i feel for her, she has got it so bad for him, i kinda wished she'd have given him the time to explain what was going on. i hope he goes by her place next and makes her hear him out. I loved the reference to blood on the dancefloor, that was a hot video and i also loved Michael's braid in that, so sexy! i can't wait to see what happens next, always keeping us on tender hooks, lol! the marks of a great writer! thank you!

Well that interview escalated quickly! She should have at least heard him out then chosen whether to believe him or not. I do love that you chose this short film for the photo shoot, it's one of my favs.
My prediction is...I think she will try and cut all ties with him after she gets the article approved. That probably won't work, and maybe in 38 more chapters he will explain himself :P The suspense is brutal!

I loved how Lindsey's sister Courtney has jumped on board with her quest to see her little sister happy, even if only for a one memorable date with the elusive Valentino, so funny the way they passed the check back and forth, i can't wait to read more Tink, i so want to find out about that phone call, Lizzy's obviously jealous and doesn't like the attention that he is paying to Lindsey, leaving us on tender hooks, can't wait for more, this is an excellent story!
