Some mothers...really, they think they are gods and can direct their children's lives as it pleases them. This I-own-my-children attitude is what creates the rift between parents and kids. Hopefully, Isa has learned her lesson and stops butting into Lilly's life like this.

I agree with you. It's a shame that parents can do this to their own children. I believe it comes from that stupid belief "I made you, I have control over your life". Isa likes being a friend to Michael, but I just don't think she wants to be chased by the media and find herself in the public eye. It's a rather selfish reason. We'll see if she understands that Lily's happiness is more important than the fear of public scrutiny.

You're fangirling all over your house? I'd love to see THAT. :D If people think you're crazy for loving Michael, they're crazier than you. Honey, I've been a fan since childhood. I loved him before, during and after the allegations. People around me always thought I was crazy, but I never gave a crap about their opinion. Luckily, my family believed in him and they believed in me and my judgment although they were never fans of his music, but trust me that I would have fought them till the end of the world if they hadn't supported him or my love for him. So ... keep loving him and keep fangirling over him because he's worth every effort and every blow you take for giving your heart to him.

Awesome! Very creative, as well as very inspiring, too. I like it. :)
Now they have to get past a problem with Lily's parents - particularly her father (as he would probably disown Lily and tell her that she's not his daughter anymore, or something along those lines).
Of course, I sense that Lily's grandparents are a different story altogether. They see Michael as part of the family, and there is no doubt that they'll take his and Lily's side and tell Lily's parents exactly where they can get off...
Keep up your super-neat, very creative and phenomenally beautiful writing! :)

You'll be surprised to find out which one of her parents is harder to deal with. My lips are sealed for now. ;)
I believe that, as people grow older, they're more willing to accept things and situations that they probably wouldn't have agreed to when they were young. I sensed that in my own grandparents and my mom confirmed - they allowed me to do things that they never allowed their daughter, my mother, to do when she was growing up. I don't know if age makes us indeed wiser or maybe just softer, but I do believe people can change as they age.

That sounds like a very beautiful ring Michael gave Lily but what's momma and daddy gonna have to say about it when they see it? And I know they want each other but they should wait until he's divorced and she can be with him in California. Having sex now while their relationship is still unclear will only complicate things more.

Well ... by how things are going in the new chapter, I guess their relationship does become more complicated. :D I believe the sex will bond them even tighter even if it complicates things. Plus, one of the next chapters will tell you why it wouldn't be a good idea if they waited. I mean, divorcing Debbie won't be a piece of cake. I think waiting for the divorce to finally happen before they have sex might add even more anxiety to their relationship.
Mommy and daddy won't be happy at all, but now that Lily's all grown up, I don't think she'll have a problem with defending their love. If her parents give up on her, it'll hurt her, yes, but she has Michael. Not only is he her soulmate, but I also think he wouldn't mind to take care of her or to provide for her. I guess we have to wait and see what happens with them from this moment on.

It's just not enough for me to read just one chapter per day :( you are probably the most incredible writer on this website. it's just so beautiful and i am so in love with this. A couple of days ago i was getting really sad after coming from high school because i remembered june 25th is coming up, and i just started crying, i was so depressed remembering 2009. The only thing that made me feel better was chapter 11 of your story (i check your profile everyday just to see if there's new chapters lol), it made me smile like a million times. I'm truly honored that you love my writing, but I don't believe I'm an incredible writer. I just think this is a story that many of us indentify with, so maybe this is why you feel connected to it. :)
This time of the year has been difficult for us, Michael's fans, ever since that awful day of June, 2009, and I perfectly understand how you feel. I wish they took June out of the calender for ever. I'm happy that my story managed to put a smile on your face when you were sad.
I'm uploading new chapters every day now, but only because they're already written. Once I'll bring this story up to date, it'll take longer between chapters as I'll have to write the new ones. I hope you understand.

I think the love Michael and Lily are sharing is special because they were friends before they became lovers. I think that's why they last in spite of the hardships they encounter. Many couples last through troubles, but I believe that when there's such a serious age gap, the troubles are even harder to overcome. It's their friendship that makes them last in the first place. :)
