Brilliant! :) I like it, especially, this part:
“No, ‘Fredo, you have to understand that your attitudes belong in a stupid mob family movie, but not in real life. There is no honour to defend here. This are flesh and blood people, your wife and your daughter, and your stupid pride are gonna get them killed, you brainless paisan!”
Alfredo gasped. Connie’s jaw dropped open. Truth is, I’ve never felt more pissed off by our stupid mentality than now. I got over my father keeping me drugged to marry me off to some random man. I got over my whole family disowning me. But I won’t get over the stupid pride that could lead to the death of an unborn child, my own flesh and blood. So I called Alfredo the worst name that came to my mind and he took the hurt down into his gut. His face became all red. But he couldn’t do anything. Because he knew I was right. So we all stood in awkward silence till Michael returned, giving my sister the paper bag with all the vitamins she needed.
Very awesome, as well as very well-written, too. :)

I could not agree more there, of course. And in my mind, La Toya does have a point there about the honor of a woman. :) And I can imagine Seraphina nodding in agreement and approval with La Toya, as though saying, “You tell ‘em, La Toya”. :)

Awesome. Very neat, as well as very well-written, too. I like it. :) And I could imagine Sera's eyes lighting up as Michael tells her that he likes beauty, grace and class rather than glitz and glamour, and also see her wanting to inspire Michael to write more songs as well. (I just hope that she can help him to sleep well at night without the aid of sleeping pills, though.)
