ooooooo I just loved this chapter..I like when Lana pretended to laugh because Kari said she liked being a vampiress better than human..priceless! and Mike and Lana finally confessed their feelings to each other, yay! Took them long enough..can see how much Michael really loves Lana because he's afraid of hurting her..I look forward to seeing their love blossom and the two of them get it on eventually..I just know he would be good at showing her a good time..

It did take them quite a long time and yet still there's the question of what exactly they both mean when they said I love you. Michael knows he can be a rabid beast. LOL he doesn't want to do her like he's done the other women in his past.

Gulp. You heard me...Gulp. The subtlety of this whole scene was so sensual. It was effortless really. Michael finally giving in just a little bit to his craving of his cinnimon Apple. They finally told each other they have love but I don't know if either of them think the other is in-love. I can't wait for that to happen. When he finally gives in to her  PS I love Metallica!! I love SandMan. That's my fav song of theirs. "We're off to never never land!!" Sigh!

You're absolutely right!! That isn't the first time they've used the L word and it hasn't always meant 'in-love'. We'll see how that pans out. I love Metallica too!! and it's so strange because they are like the outcasts among my usual tastes. SandMan is one of my favs too.

The amount of love Mike feels for her must be astronomical with that demonstration of willpower! If he has the will to leave the room, he needs to realize that he also has the will not to hurt her. 

Cause now that he's tasted her, something tells me he could go drain every woman on the planet and he would still be hungry.

He's killed people on accident before like that Asian in the restaurant several chapters back so he can be very dangerous. so you're right she needs to be patient with him.

27 chapter done in 1 day, and in 1 go. Lol. And here's my review so far:

*SPOILER Allert (just in case, and pardon for any grammar error/bad english haha)*

At first the story is kinda of slow, to much monologue for my taste probably. I'm glad I did give the story a try, because after Lana getting into the story, everything seems more... colorful. The older Lana gets, the more the story bloom.

And the relationship between Michael and Lana is very interesting. I always have a thing for vampire x human love. Here in the story, that relationship added with a bit of taboo, and magic, friendship, and tons of conflict. And I love it. Good job~

Now I'll just patiently wait for the next update xD

It did start slow, I wanted to capture Lana's childhood without writing every single detailed conversation so it did get kind of over monologued. But yes, now that she's of age and her feelings have been recognized. We've hit the climax.

Ha, if only! Michael seems satisfied with no-face no-names...Perhaps this is his idea of loyalty, not getting attached to his food providers. In reality, he would probably go on hunger strike than take from Lana...
