I think it would be odd to book a date with someone you've already flirted at length with/become confidantes with prior to paying them money. (insert Kim K joke) I think she should take the money and get whatever she needs to add to her interviewing attire.

In a way, I found it funny that Lindsey was mad at Valentino and he felt sorry. Because the truth is, they haven't had anything yet. Therefore, it was pretty ridiculous to me. However, it can be seen they have "something" for each other so when there are feelings, unreasonable things become reasonable :)).
Anyway, I am looking forward to the photoshoot and interview. Thank you for the new chapter. I can't wait to read more.

It amazed to me that Valentino's mother lives in the same house with him and she didn't know anything about his job. Well, if I were a member of Valentino's family, honestly speaking, I would be shocked, but I would never judge him because he did try his best to take care of his family. I might cry like a mad person because he's sacrificed so much :)).
There are so many mysteries about Valentino, and that makes him even more alluring.

I have 2 stories going so I can only update as often as I do. it takes a good 7 days and many hours to write. I'm better than most writers though and update more often. patience is a virtue...lol thanks for reading.

That's the part I don't understand - why he used the same pseudonym as he uses for work. If he really wanted to keep his aliases separate, why not use a different one? That way at least he wouldn't have most people looking him up.
I'd say women in general would be less skeptical; men would be envious if they strike out a lot and see another man getting paid. Women could at least rationalize it (classic defense) as empowering and showing how women can assume a traditionally male role. Reframe it, so to speak.
I'm surprised his sisters didn't bring it to his mother's attention. Or Lizzy didn't hint at it to his mother as a way of gaining control over him.

in his mind he probably felt his secret was safe knowing his mother was pretty sheltered. maybe he wanted people to look him up...look at all of the extra business it has given him.
I would agree that most men would be envious but not if it involved your sibling. Derek can obviously see his sisters attraction to Valentino so he's protective plus he's a cop and legally knows the law in his jurisdiction.
Lizzy has her reason for not mentioning anything...that's all I'm going to say. Same with his sister all which will be revealed

Will having his mother know change his persepective on his job? Will he leave the profession and live with his daughter and perhaps his wife? Or is she not his wife?
He still enjoys talking with Lindsey...you can see he trusts her completely!

Lindsey hit the nail on the head. No matter how classy Michael acts he is still a prostitute. No mother wants that for her child. It is also not a lifestyle Michael would want for his daughter I'm sure.
Nice to see him opening up more to Lindsey. I think he likes her quite a bit more than she realizes.
