Yea she finally stepped up. She doesnt put up with his shit for sure You never know what will happen with rehab. whatever happens it wont happen overnight as he's been addicted for so long. Thanks for reviewing

Liz indulged Michael too much! But I am very glad that she finally made the decision to pull Michael out of his pity self.
Poor Jo! :( If she had heard the message, I believe she would have felt better. But fate, somtimes it doesn't happen the way we want it to, right?
I hope this first step will help Michael out. And Adam is such a great guy!

True about Liz but she had to get to a point where enough was enough then she put him in his place she was right, there was no one left for him to crawl too. She certainly doesnt hold any punches with him but that's what he needs.
Jo is tired and is lost herself so I dont blame her. Sometimes you just need to remove something that is toxic and right now Michael is toxic. It's hard for he because she loves him regardless but has to think about her baby.

Oh geeze, just read this and gotta say this story has me depressed now. :( I might wait a few chapters til they get back, if they do....the sadness has been going on to long for me. I am kind of afraid you are gonna have Jo Jo have the baby without Michael. So if I don't review for a few chapters that's why....but other then me being sad lol and all, the writing is good as always! :) and glad Michael is getting help, but damn....he needs to be there for his woman and baby...ugh....

I'm sorry you feel that way but it has to be this way for a reason. I have a goal and the sadness will make sense if I just skip ahead there would be too much of a gap. Trust me. I hope you dont choose to stop reading I appreciate your reviews and it would be very discouraging if someone were to stop because they didnt like the path I took. again it will all make sense. I can't believe she deleted the message! I understand she's at the end of her rope but if she's spraying his cologne on her pillow still she's still holding on to some hope lol. Side note - Adam is so great. Hopefully Jules will be understanding.

Sometimes when this are so low you just have to remove what's causing the most pain. Though she loves him she's deeply hurt because he refuses to say where he is and doesnt trust her. She's lucky to have Adam for sure what will Jules think though? That's the question. thanks for reviewing

I want to start by saying that the last few chapters have been great. (I'm just now catching up) You are truly an amazing and talented writer. I love your stories (they give me so much life) & I hope you continue to do more. Now on to my rant... 😊
I feel like Mike and Jo are really just hot ass messes right now. Jo wanted Michael to leave so that he could get better. I don't think she should be shocked about him being able to up and disappear. When she first met him, he'd pratically disappeared off of the face of the earth after the accident. He hasn't been in the media and I can count on my hands the number of times (in the story) that he has interacted with any of his family members. I get that she is pregnant and that she loves Michael & wants him to get better for the sake of their relationship & their child. But you can't want something for someone else more than they want it for themselves.
As for Michael, I agree with him leaving and his reason for leaving. I do not agree with him not being in contact or his behavior while being away. He needs to want to get better for himself. His demons started with him and they will have to end with him. If he would have admitted where he was, he would just be going around in a circle. He's only not drinking when Jo is right by his side and the minute she is away from him he reverts to his usual ways. He has to do it on his own.

Thank you for the compliment it really means a lot. I read ever review and try to respond. I agree the are a mess and both are not blameless job has been supportive and strong but her resilience is breaking as she becomes weaker. She needs him now. He still needs help but it has to start with himself. He's a runner and escapes. He just needs to see everything he needs he has. Hopefully he will take steps to get everything back. His life his woman and his child. Thanks for the insiteful review I love it. Did you check out gigolo yet?

Poor Jo! :(. I hope the last sentence from Michael will really change things, that he had realized his problem.
It hurts to go through something likes Jo does. And she doesn't even deserve it :(, especially now she is pregnant.
Michael needs to come to his senses. If not, I'm afraid he will forever lose the battle and sink into the darkness. This is the time to wake up!

OMG, finally he said he need help. I hope Liz will get him to rehab immediately and not to go to the charity event first and then she probably could call Jo or Adam and tell them where Mike is. I just hope it is not too late for them and Jo will tell him about the baby. I guess it could be pretty good motivation for Mike to finally get better.

And that was the sound of hitting rock bottom. Michael has got to an all-time low and needs to accept the fact that only professional help in a clinic can help him climb back to daylight. Liz is rather a toxic presence around him, enabling his habit, but maybe now she does the right thing and takes him straight to the clinic. Poor Jo still has a long time of misery ahead of her, and that's not healthy for her and the baby. :(
