Very difficult reading this chapter! It was beautifully written, and the way you depicted Ria's death made it less difficult. I am disgusted with Kenny. What disgusted me most of all is that fact that he sat next to her dead body enjoying his deed. Sick and disturbing! Well at least we know why he is after Baylee, he thinks she's his. I just hope he doesn't have a chance to take out his revenge on Michael and his new love, Marley.
On the other hand, I'm glad he was able to discuss Ria's death with Marley, and I wasnt surprised how understanding she was with him still loving her. You never forget your first love. However, it appears that he is able to move on and give the rest of his heart to Marley.

Ria's death was hard to write. I didn't want it to be too graphic but at the same time I wanted you guys to feel the atmosphere Kenny created. It was dark and painful. Michael and Bay suffered from it to this day. So telling Mar about it was really hard. <333

Finally a flashback of Perter and Mar, but dang, I feel so bad for Her. For them. They wanted children that much only to have it taken away for them for good, especially Marley who was broken the most. To hear you can't bear any kids it's like death. That's hard. But he really didn't have to cheat on her and not only a stranger but her best friend who knew better too. Had it been me, her ass and his ass would have been whooped that exact same day.
But now in present time, he's suck a B.A.N. Bitch Ass Nigga. Throwing hints and shade and everything else about Marley not being able to bear children. He was waaaay outta line for that and he knows it.
And poor Mike was just so lost but he will soon find out when the time is right. Now when she does get ready to tell him, I don't think his reaction about the whole truth will be so bad. Well, I see my burning bush was motivation. So glad you returned to us with another great update. Now onto my thoughts of such update.
Peter ain't shit. My Peter is much better. This Peter is a punk ass bitch fuck piece of shit. I can't stand him at all. I would say poor Marley, but why would I? Not when she's moved on to much better things. He ain't worth it at all.

Glad everything went well with Mike meeting Marley's parents. I can literally see them in my mind's eye with the way you describe them! The fact that the father brought the ingredients fresh from a farmer's market first thing in the morning makes me wish I can eat at 'Of Rice and Men' LOLLL
