Michael didn't really pay attention to the card. He just remembers getting it from Canton and when he took it out to give it to his assistant he only glanced at it long enough to make sure it was the right one. It was indifference really due to his mutual dislike for Canton. He just assumed since they where wearing the uniform blues they were just regular officers.
Canton is really salty. To the point he's being very unprofessional in dealing with Michael. He's not done either.
Im glad the details were good!! They are very important to up coming chapters.

Michael Ria and Kenny grew up together since they were all 4 years old. Michael left Indiana for college in England. So he left then behind. Ria started dating Kenny and It broke Michael's heart so he never went back to Indiana. He moved to New York for work. (this is all taking place in the past) Ria leaves Kenny because he beat her up and it's after that she reunites with Michael in New York. So that's when they get together get married and have Baylee and soon after gets killed (Still all in the past) That's the quickest synopsis I could give. I hope it helped but if not The best thing to do to get a full understanding of Michael and Ria is reread all the chapters that have to do with the past. They are the even numbered chapters. <333

Now, I can't stand Law and Order. I'll watch, but I can't do it. I always get mad or wanna slap somebody. Point is, I was hummin the theme song the whole time I read this. That show is too dramatic for me. Now do you see why I cling to Psych so much? Give me goofy detectives who love to snack in between and make references to all of my favorite things. I still want to write a detective story some day in a great once.
But with that being said, it's really getting dark now. Shit's going down and I can't wait but I'm also scared because what the hell is gonna happen!?!?! I can wait but I also can't

Ria and Kamaria are the same person from the past. In the present he's dating Marley the nanny he hired for Baylee after Ria died. The story is going back and forth from the past to the present. This chapter is the present time. Any chapter with Ria is in the past. <333

Yes Michael and Kamaria were actually married. She really did die when Baylee was only a few months old. Michael hired Marley as Baylee's nanny not long after. Baylee is now 4 going on 5 years old so it's been a while since Kamaria passed away. I hope this clears up the confusion. Anything else jus ask and I'm here for Ya! :) <333

Chile, he is scary and I'm mad that he ran into Rhoda at that party. She unknowingly let this fool know where poor Ria is staying.
I read with eyes wide open the way you wrote about what rich kids like Rhoda and Kenny had to go through in their childhoods and even in their adult lives. I was just shaking my head in disgust. Sure, this is just a fictional story but this actually happens in real life to young innocent kids everyday. Man, I felt bad for both Rhoda and Kenny at that moment.
Last but not least, I'm glad Ria finally told Michael about the abuse she suffered at the hands of Kenny. I am glad he is going to do everything that he could to protect her and love her the way she deserves to be loved.
But unfortunately that protection won't be enough....

This kind of thing does happen in reality and it's sad and sick and so soul snatching. Now you guys have sort of an idea of what made Kenny the way he is. He lost all trust and a part of his humanity to the lifestyle inflicted on the kids that grew up in his circle. That's why he clever to Michael and Ria but couldn't really connect. Rhoda opened a can of beans she didn't even realize she had smh. Michael didn't know what he was in for with Kenny coming back. <333

Goodness, to think of the atrocities that happened to Kenny makes me feel for him. Kenny obviously needs help and Michael and Ria need to protect themselves.
Michael was right, I know they were best of pals but he almost killed her and she should have pressed charges.
