If only they'd had that convo earlier instead of hitting the bathroom. I'm constantly in a state of wondering if it is "two steps forward, one step back" or "one step forward, two steps back".
And of course Michael only stayed because Marcus was going to come. I can't tell if he wants Nina so that he's the "winner" and he'll have more access to his kids, or he wants her because he loves her. I don't know if he even knows the answer to that at this point....

Right if these two have anything it's an out of control physical attraction that's for sure. And it's probably one step forward, two steps back. The more and more they keep skippnig the details that REALLY need to be discussed, the further and further apart they will grow unless something changes and soon.
And you're right. He was so ready to be DONE, he forgot for a minute that there's someone right there waiting in the wings to snatch up what was his. Deep down he's not ready to let go.

Anyway. Marcus made his choices regardless of the reason. Nina didn't make him go into what he did to get him locked up. They enjoyed the money from it period. He got caught then locked up. That has nothing to do with Michael.
Like really and truly why should Michael care that Marcus was incarcerated?
I understand that Nina promised him to stick with him but time and circumstances changes feelings and she fell in love with Michael. It's been months for Marcus to gain a civil respect for the man but no. Instead of getting a job and making things secure to take care of his son he's having Nina pay for shit for him with Michael's money and making quick tabloid press cash again at Michael's expense. It's that same quick easy cash that got him in trouble in the first place. Lesson number one not learned. There is no excuse. Feeling guilty for falling in love with someone else while steadily pushing said person away because of it is ridiculous.
Did he even stay when he found out Nina had left with Michael? Did he stay and take care of his son? Or did he make excuses and leave because his agenda was for Him to make moves?
These two get me in my damn feels. THEY NEED THAT COUNSELING!! Michael don't be an ass and refuse.

Michael was DONE but Mike Jr. said 'uh uh I want a piece of that you ain't going nowhere playa.'
Nina didn't make him go do what he did, but she supported it and she promised to support him if he went away and she ended up falling for another dude. So she is kind wrong in a way (in Marcus's POV), but not really cause you can't stop what your heart wants.
I completely left that out! Yeah he stayed briefly, but we'll get the scoop from Jisela in the next chapter. And they DO need that counseling, but don't expect Michael to be too eager to go along with it. He's got a lot on his plate already, with the concerts, the album, the Pepsi Commercial...

Now, on to these two: I'm with Bill. Michael needs to stop putting him in the middle of ttheir relationship mess.I also have to agree with BOTH he and Ninas point of view in this chapter. I never thought I would say that, but I am LOL.
Marcus needs to just focus on his son. Yes, I get he's hurt, but at what point does the well-being of your son become more important than trying to get Nina and hurt Michael? At the end of the day, Maddox cares for Michael, whether Marcus likes it or not and Michael accepts that Maddox cares for his father. Now, Marcus needs to accept, once and for all, that his former relationship with Nina is just that-FORMER.

Right, Michael needs to handle his business on his own and not bring his 'people' into it. He already knows Nina ain't gonna stand for that mess. You're right about Marcus, yeah he's hurt but he still has his son. He needs to be grateful of that and focus on what he does have.

- Nina just feels sorry for Marcus I mean who wouldn't just put yourself in his shoes and its natural for him to retaliate in a crazy way but he still needs time to get over Nina and the fact that Michael is around and Michael needs to understand Marcus view on the situation and Marcus is going no where and neither is Michael just work this out nicely so Maddox doesn't suffer

Michael is making no effort to understand Marcus's side and he should try to be at least a little bit understanding. I mean it would make Nina pretty ruthless to just abandoned Marcus with no remorse at all and just move on and completely forget him.

You're right, they both knew what came with the other so it's too late to be mad about it now. Nina did not handle dealing with Marcus while being in a relationship with Michael very well. Her lack of honesty made Michael distrust the whole situation right off the bat. But you're right. It's not Michael's place to dictate when Marcus gets to see his son and Marcus does need to move on though he has the right to be hurt there's nothing he can do about that.

Michael is fed up for sure. He's been through this 100 times with Nina and she KNOWS how he feels about the situation. Marcus does have the right to be a little hurt, pissed, and he's human so he's gonna be a little spiteful. Nina promised him forever and then gets swept up by this world famous popstar... That's a huge blow he has taken.
