Michael Michael Michael still being a selfish a-hole I see. He is NEVER going to get Erin because all he thinks of is himself. Erin is happy so he needs to back off and suffer in silence.
He needs to be happy for her, be her friend, and ditch the trashy side piece. Even though its too late, its pretty hard to believe a love confession when there is another woman involved. Its like he learned nothing. He doesnt see how hollow his words ring out in the wake of his actions. At least its not Erins cousin or some other relative. I guess he's been there, done that and the thrill is gone.
The best he can hope for is to be a true best friend and maybe in 5 years Jake will die in some horrible accident and Michael will finally have his chance. Although I hope not cause Jake is a sweetheart.

You're right, Eva being in the picture doesn't help with making his confession believable. FINALLY! I'm so happy these two have made up.

Michael is delusional if he thinks Erin is going to ditch Jake for him. Lol. "Time is running out" is he crazy? Smoking crack? Time ran out fifteen years ago my friend. You just be glad she is still able to act remotely civil towards you. He is lucky that she is even considering giving him another chance as a friend.
A lot more humility is warranted on Michael's end. That man needs to wake up and realize he is shit rather than The Shit. His apology would have been much more sincere if he didn't have an agenda.
