Nice gesture to buy that house. I do wonder though if Tyler would ever show up again at least once or twice more. I mean, that Dr certainly did. I think it would be quite interesting if Michael actually somehow met Tyler and didn't know until after he met him that he's the man Cassie cheated on him with. I feel like we should see him again solely to make things interesting. Lol

Michael seems to have taken that a little too well........I hope that he doesn't dwell on it to the detriment of the relationship. He's already done enough damage and it's time to move on.

Probably not unless michael finds out who she slept with. Then he might.comfront him. I tried not to make michael too saintly and real. Glad you like it. I am open to suggestions as it's hard with two stories going keeping them both up to date

Meh she shouldn't feel too guilty about it. She definitely should tell Michael if they are going to start over the slate needs to be clean, but he has no right to be angry with her. What does he expect? This is a direct consequence of his failings. He not only cheated, but was a terrible husband who abandoned her with newborn twins and basically took all his internal issues and problems out on her in the form of anger. Something had to give eventually, and I can see that his not being there for her birthday was the straw that broke the camel's back. You can't keep treating someone like crap and expect them to keep forgiving you without consequence. And the way that this happened, she didn't do it on purpose for revenge she did it because she was so lonely and in need of human contact she settled for whatever was around. It's sad, really.
I don't see this one slip up as a bad thing as long as Ty didn't knock her up. Maybe she can better understand how Michael feels now, and he can better understand what she went through when he slept with Val.
I'm glad that you aren't one of those writers who makes a horrible double-standard for Michael in that everything he does should be forgiven and the female character never does anything wrong. In real life actions have consequences.

He took that better than I thought he would.. However, I know that's not gonna be the last time he thinks about it. It's only human nature to wonder and question something like that. Even if he doesn't vocalize it to Cassie, I'm sure he's gonna wonder in his mind, who the guy is, how did it happen, is he younger and better looking, etc. Only in a perfect world would indiscretion from both people in a marriage be totally forgotten and not ever thought about again.

He doesn't need to know the details. Just tell him you cheated, you're sorry, etc and move on already. They both need to get past the bs and work on this hot mess of a marriage.
