 The hold I had on the doorknob weakened.
He pushed that hindrance between us easily and took one step forward.
He looked deep into my eyes ready to draw my soul out
and claim it for himself for this little time we had between us for now.
One hand took hold of the angle of my face and
he drew me close up to him.
Leaning low, he pressed his soft rosy lips against mine.
It was a slow, deep kiss.
I could breathe in the delicious sweet scent emanating from his body.
His kiss tasted just as sweet.
My temperature was rising and insides were fluttering
as if this was the first time we touched.
Every moment with him was just as exciting,
just as fresh with love and need.

He had his left arm resting atop his sturdy abdomen, rising up and down to the rhythm of his deep and steady breathing and his right arm placed next to him on the pillow.
