I challenge you to write a story (short or multichaptered, whatever you like) that brings us back to June 25th, 2009. Yes, the unfortunate day that tore our hears apart. In your story, you're gonna have to deal not exactly with Michael himself, but with the people he left behind. His fans, his family, his friends, or even a lover, whatever you prefer. It's a very open challenge.
It does have to be rather sad, and reflect Michael's beautiful life. Think back to that day and relive all the turbulent emotions that you felt when you found out the tragic truth.
Try to express your characters' feelings and thoughts in a clear and deep manner, making the readers identify themselves with them.

what if michael was a twin (for all intents and purpuse for this yes he is adal twin) but his identical twin was a savont of clasical music, fully and completley know classical music in and out on a level even he doesn't know of regular music but because of this he has a mind of a child he's severly delayedand only when they speak of clasicall music he can carry on straight informative conversation only when in that mode
Michael on the other hand is into music as he was in reality, but is a severe busness man, but he realizes his brother really wants to be a clasical concert it think the word is director, so he hatches a plan with the help of (a female friend) to get his bother exactly what he wants but at a risk because if he gets caught it could be the biggest scandal in music history.

This one is pretty simple: it has to consist of Michael, in any era you wish, meeting a fan. It can be someone you've imagined in your head, or maybe yourself!

what if Michael had the opertunity to go back in time to when he was a boy before the jackson five ever became famous meet himself and after everything that happened he tells his younger self who he is and and something he says which won't be much makes his youngerself choose not to pursue his dream of being a entertainer
he is somehow returned to his time and when he does it's drastically differnt
- Michael is on a bus to the steel mill when he returns
- he actually was miltary veterin and fighter pilot
- now works at a steall mill making airplane parts and reparing them
- but he always whitles music in his head
- and what happened to his family and the world because he was not in the industry to make the changes that he did

Okay guys, I noticed there weren't a lot of stories like this, so I wanted to issue this challenge because it's something that was a really big rumor throughout our beloved Michael's life.
Write a story where Michael Jackson is in the closet. Yes, in the closet. Whether or not he really was gay is his damn business (as a female, I'd like to think he was into women) but imagine a time when, even in the most androgynous decade ever, being gay was a curse, and he saw himself as the curse. With all that pressure to be one thing when he was another could have been hell, as it is for so many poor young gay people even today.
Doesn't matter how long, but it HAS to start in the 80's, and there has to be some sort of coming out in some way...you can put that at the end or at the beginning, whatever. Good luck! I hope you can make me cry!

I challenge you to write an mj/prince fic with any of the the following things
- Anything that paints them as bitter rivals with sexual tension, that ends with one of them declaring their true feelings to the other and make out. You can include sex too of you want.
- Anything where they have a love/hate relationship filled with sexual tension that either ends with make out or sex or some declaration of love or a mixture of the three.
- FLUFF! TSUNDRE FLUFF, any one of them can be the tsundre, or they can both be tsundre.
- A song fic based on the song "I'm just your problem" from adventure time.
- Some sort of realization that one has feelings for the other (and isn't as straight as they thought), they can both have this realization if you wish.
- ANGST
- It can take place during the thriller, bad, or dangerous eras.
Also you don't have to put these all in one fic, one story for each bullet at a time is recommended, but if you want, you can combine all or most of these themes in one fic. There aren't enough fics of these two, which is a damn shame because there's so much material to work with.
