I'll probably say this every single time but your descriptions are absolutely lovely! They paint an incredibly vivid picture, I've been to London and you're incredibly correct on the weather and how lonely it could be. I am enjoying Michael's aloofness in his, frank is very strong willed and very business minded haha I'm enjoying him he keeps Michael on his toes. His interaction with Kirsten was nice, you'd hope communicating with Michael like he is human would definitely capture his attention. That's all he wanted.
I decided to start from the beginning and I'm enjoying reading!! :) :)!!

First of all, I've been catching u on this story for the lst few nights after work and I have to say, theres a llot of emotion captured here. There is his raw sort of emotion that would be painful to even witness, but beautiful at the same time. Also you know, this is more kindred than most would imagine (I too am half a person, they just arent deceased lol) But I wanted to point this particular piece out::

I have to say, I absolutely love this chapter! <3 *smiles* My favorite part of this chapter is this: So simple but so beautiful:
Baby, I love you…” he sighed contentedly, leaning over to kiss my cheek. “You know, this is just like anything, you have less experience than I do in this area, so you are asking questions, there’s nothing stupid about it… And, it’s not like one of those things you could ask just anybody about—it’s personal,” he explained, “so why couldn’t you talk about it with the guy that you’re going to potentially have all the sex in the world with!” he joked, making me burst out laughing, doing a good job at keeping the conversation light-hearted.
The fact that paying attention to this love is what should be paid attnetion too here it's not merely just the fluffy word that people throw around nowadays but I feel as though he is meaning that eternal love that a lot of people take for granted and is excruciatingly hard to find.
I also find that having such a huge deep conversation could be opened up to such a humorous moment. I can see why you were nominated and won favorite Michael, the dynamic of the personality is astounding :) I know I've been quiet however I've been reading *smiles*

Allow me to use a bit of profanity on this review.....f..ck was not expecting that onset at all!! Your descriptions yet again when it comes to intimacy, when it comes to his reaction; shy, disruptive and dismorphed view he had of himself but still despite insecurities gave in and still let loose. Had me reeling, there's something so captivating and sexy about this character when engaging in intimacy. There is something very Alpha female about the way she took control. Very elite in her behavior in handling him!
Arizona seems to work out extremely well for her! I'm surprised she's able to handle her addiction like she has without completely losing herself! Josh seems nice enough I love how this story just flows so beautifully! We're 4 chapters in and only a glimpse of Michael during this period and I'm still hooked! I love the technique of the backtrack it lets me know where this story ends up eventually heading and needless to say I'm excited haha
anyway off to read more!!

Thank you! I used that flash foward because I didn't want the story to get too tedious, too much about her as it is. And I know most people reading fanfics are more interested in Michael, lol.
Addiction is sneaky. At first it tricks you into believing that you can handle yourself, until you find yourself doing things you never thought you would do and making excuses for it. Then one day you wake up and you don't even recognize yourself anymore :(
Thank you for liking my technique! I knew I needed to balance her character with Michael’s, so he had to come in sooner. I figured since it's a romantic mj fanfic, people are already going to know what happens between Michael and the original girl, so . . . You know. I shouldn't be too coy with my readers, they're too smart for that :)
Starr as an alpha female, you know it's funny, because she does take charge when it's necessary, but she is also very submissive with Michael (you'll see later on, Michael is the boss). But she figured that since the moment had started, it really needed to be finished, otherwise she could lose him completely. If things go wrong in this crucial event in their relationship, it could ruin everything, so she needed to take the risk and make that happen, because then maybe they can finally move forward. You'll see that in context later.

Haha if is after 4 am and I'm back reading! Michael's personality in this is incredibly sqewt! I love as a reader being shown the more human side of him! I absolutely adore the fact that the children play a role in this fiction too <3 most fictions don't depict them at all really so it's beautiful rhapsody you did. I can imagine those pouty little cheeks and big beautiful bright eyes! Bless her!
It seems to matter what capacit starr's hormones have completely taken over on feel like his security guard dropped a huge bomb to her with mentioning he's 'smitten'. I can see why she comes accross as stronf, iron willed but very delicate somehow! I love it I shall continue on! *Grabs my snack*

I've always been more interested in him as a human being than as a performer. I kind of embrace his flaws and issues too. And I always imagined that he was an amazing father . . . then when Paris confirmed it, it was awesome. I was like I KNEW it! Lol.

Omg..... God I absolutely love her background!! You have this story rich with who she is, her addictions, her problems, the abuse she sustained. Her mother inflicting such abuse trying to keep her unhalthy, just there's a lot Amber had to digest! I'm in love with this story due to the realism of it all! I'm scared to binge read because I don't desire it to end!!
I have to say, I love the identifiable era of the earlier 90s when the hipster grunge era became a popular piece in schools and collages. Hits very very close to home honestly there a coziness when reading it. I feel like Amber is much more than a mere character. She's lived,you actually bring her to life. It's the skill every writer ties to encompass and you've got it!!

Oh my goodness okay *laughs* I realize I'm insufferably indecisive when it comes to which one of your stories I'm Fixated on but I am absolutely obsessed with your writing style, ability to paint such vividness. And honestly the ability to engross a reader without even Introducing Jackson into the piece! I am obsessively ingesting this! I love out main character here, she's incredibly realistic, her troubled home, her surrogent mother and father being her aunt and uncle trying to pick up the pieces from her irresponsible birth parents (apologies but that is how they came off to me!).
i am enjoying her love for Michael and the descriptions of the way he made her feel even as a young one, in regards to her crush and all the confusing emotions due to her own ignorance to sex and what not! I love it! Part of me feels as though you've delve a little into yourself for this character!
Moss, you've got a fan! I'm carrying on with a Dr. pepper and animal crackers! Charming and perfect meal to get engrossed in a great story with haha! In short, I love it!!!

Starr was raised by her grandmother and her grandmother's husband. She calls them 'mom' and 'dad'. The "aunts" are grandma's best friends, and they're just kind of, always around lol. I know it's confusing, lol. This story is definitely very personal.
Which is why I appreciate the attention and compliments SO much <3

My god that was one hell of an event! I'm actually excited to see where it goes since she's lost her mind and blew up her car. Here's the thing, I understand her. In some twisted sense of reality she's got to take responsibility for her actions but she's actually done pretty well and yet again despite her accomplishments she being shunned by family. Turning to drugs was the only thing left and death probably didn't seem that half bad of an idea.
as a Christian this was SUCH an amazingly interesting take on how pastor as i dare boldly say will take scriptures and pin them to people like Michael Jackson and twist who he was into such an unworthy sinful human being;he was was far from it. I've witnessed this very thing especially when they verbally cast the first stone yet your (the pastor) taking the last of worshippers funds and are driving up to church in a car your fellow man could only dream of!! I love this story to pieces!! In so glad I found this story!!!

Thank you! I can be a bit intense, lol! The sermon, I really can't take too much credit for. Most of the wording came from a YouTube video, and believe it or not, it was a REAL sermon! Some pastor, from some sect somewhere ACTUALLY said all that. It's insane! It's also where I got my pen name from. Starr struggles with spirituality, like I think most people do. Deep down, she believes in God and Jesus, but she hasn't seen the real beauty and magic of life yet. But she will ;)

Oh my goodness!! I should be napping currently but I cannot get over this story haha my goodness!! Okay! FINALLYYYYYY this was the absolute break that she needed!! After being so abused, heart broken, torn apart, rejected, and embarrassed there is vindication on her side! Let me just say the way that you tied in their meeting with her ability to paint (I've noticed those with broken pasts have hidden talents) opening up such a prestigious lifestyle for her! I've even heard of Jackson meeting those who were incredibly exceptional at art; this was absolutely superb!!
Im excited 5 chapters in and we are getting to be introduced to Michael here, I love how you've conveyed him very warm, tender already so welcoming! I loved her irrational thinking from pure shock and elation whe meeting him and asking herself does he like her already simply because of his style shift! Okay! I love this! I must break to sleep! Goodness gracious! Her family are so incredibly overbearing! While it's understood she's had a very troublesome past, she's struggled like hell to get to where she is, her family well, a few of them could at least be congratulatory toward her new found life path!
they are what I would classify as dysfunctional. Even there is immense shade thrown toward her weight loss and being thin.
i hate she relapsed but o honestly cannot blame here there has to be a middle ground and from what it looks like there isn't much stress she can handle right now.
Michael provides normalcy in her life, have her a sense of hope and sanity I know she's missing it. Nothing like a revelation that your family has never changed who they are , no growth, nothing. Still just as negative as they've always been

Ahh! Wonderful wonderful update! This had me clenched and ready to fight Jackie myself! You can tell Kackie still has many deeply rooted issues when it comes to her abuse as a child. She needs to stop projecting and assuming that because she abused that it meant Michael was an abuser.
Your dialogue with this chapter is impeccable! I was not expecting large to actually jump to her side. But I suppose when someone is being irrational and incredibly unreasonable you'll side for what's right. I really felt like Marge stuck it to her for being the one to raise her discrediting Jackie entirely.
onntonthe next chapter I winced when you decribed the outfit the press caught him in, you know they'd have a field day with that!

Thanks! Lol! I needed to take Michael down a few notches, and embarass him a little, his character was too perfect. Later on he becomes even more difficult to deal with, and not so perfect. But that crazy event does seem like something that would happen to Michael, lol!
Jackie is horrible, but Marge takes the opportunity to shred her. The enemy of my enemy . . .and all that.

Ahh! Loved this as always, yet heres some things I loved, I love the fact of ho you preented pills being thrown into the lake, the symbolic meaning of it. Both of them throwing away pills for thing they love, things and people they dont desire to hurt, their future and honestly survival. I've never seen anything wirtten like this in mny other stories not only incredibly unique but very pivotal for the characters!
Very sweet how even though thei time in the 'normal' world if you will was inturrupted it was still a wonderful moment for them I love how you captued yet again the humanitarian side of things that even in the face of a drug addicted strung ouut man he didnt desire to inflict or add to that mans suffering only waned to help.

I was close enough to him to feel his pulse when it accelerated. His breaths got shorter. I felt pleasantly feverish. Both of our body temperatures rose and there was actual heat between us. Actual palpable evidence that we both wanted something to happen. He had to be interested, at least physically. I was way past interested and had long since moved on to voracious. I was suffering for him, like I always knew I would be.

and so it begins! the closeness, the attraction, that doesn seem to be only on her end of thing anymore. Buiding tension such as this is one of my favorite things abouut stoies such as yours. Sometime it can be just as enthralling if not more than the actual intimate scenes themselves. Something very intimate about being within that friendship boundry, and feeling that intensity, but knowing the attraction is strong all driven in the name of pulse and body heat.

Yeah, Michael had a different way of doing things, but his problem was a lack of self preservation, I think.
And I wanted to show how adorably skittish he is about love after being f'd over so many times. It was like he protected his feelings but not his safety. Kind of contradictory I guess.
