The sheltered pop star, fed up with spending his nights caged in a hotel room, takes a drive into the night in disguise and stumbles upon a hole in the wall bar in a small town. He meets a bartender there and learns from her what the ‘real world' is like. Like a moth to a flame, his curiosity of all things that he has always known as forbidden draws him in to her and she shows him things he's never seen and introduces him to things he's never done. She unleashes a side to him he never knew he had.

His family worries about him. Over the years he has grown more and more distant from them. Janet, believing that this change stems from his loneliness and depression, introduces him to a dancer from her tour. A young woman Janet has gotten so close to because the woman reminds her so much of Michael. She's soft spoken, classy, kind and gentle. Pure hearted and childlike with the same admiration for children. A master at practical jokes.
