The wedding day was fast approaching with less than 5 days left. Becka was still frustrated with Michael, and she had less than 5 days left to save him from making the biggest mistake of his life. Janet said that she was trying to hard. "If Mike won't listen just let him marry her." Janet said. "Once he does he'll see her true colors and probably will divorce her." Becka knew Janet was right but she didn't want to. She wanted to be more than friends. It had been her secret desire for the longest time now. She first realized it in the summer of 1972. They were only 14 but she still knew that she loved Michael and he was the only person she could ever imagine being with. She didn't want Michael to be with anyone else and that was the truth. She just never got to tell him. She just hoped he felt the same. She just felt she couldn't do let him do this.

"Beck, Beck, Becka!" Janet screamed "Oh, I'm sorry." Becka replied as she saw Janet standing there with an arm full of beautifully wrapped presents for Dana's bridal shower they were having at Becka's house. "Could you let me in?" Janet asked. "Sorry I was thinking." Becka said opening her door. "Beck, you shouldn't worry." "Love Conquers all." Just as Janet said these words Dana walked through the door and threw her sweater in Becka's empty hands. "That's so rude Dana." Janet said. "Oh shut up!" Dana replied. "Dana, please don't start anything." Becka said. "Oh you shut up too!" I can talk to the both of you how ever I please." "Oh no you won't!" Said Janet who was now standing up. "Oh, take a back seat." Dana said. "Your turn is coming." "Just wait till I'm done with her and your brother." Janet was furious. "You're not going to even get to my brother." "You think you're going to marry him but your wrong!!" Before Becka knew what was going on Janet was pulling on Dana's hair extensions. "Janet please calm down." "I can't!!" Janet said pulling harder. "Jan, you're right, she's not worth it." "If Michael won't listen to me or you we might as well let him marry the bitch." "If he won't listen it's out of our hands." Becka said realizing this more as she said the words. "I need to get some fresh air." She lied as a lump formed in her throat when she walked out the door. She didn't want to let this happen to Michael but he was right when he said he needed to make his own mistakes. She could stop a lot of things but mistakes was not one of them
