I like, I like!! This is off to a good start and for some reason, I like Jade's attitude. Reminds me of myself at times. Lol, And Gabrielle? Just by the description you gave, I envied her looks! Lol jk. And poor Michael. I felt bad for him when he should her the mess he made with the paint. I can't wait to see how this next scene turns out. Headed to read next chapter. 😁

I started writing this when I was about 23. Jade is based on my "jaded" attitude when I was that age lol. And yeah, some of her bitchy thoughts, totally the kind of things I think of (not about Mike tho)

I am surprised this doesn't have a hundred reviews. But I guess if some sort of sexual content isn't written in the first chapters people stay silent. But however for me the absence of sexual tension in this story is what makes me love it most of all. Its so genuine and realistic and the female character reminds me so much of my own self. Except if it wasn't for her rude attitude at times... I'd think you'd written the character after me. She mirrors me so much, although I am wayyyy nicer, LOL. But anyway I love how you've written Michael, its probably the most realistic adaptation that I have seen written of him on this site. Its like this is as close to who and how he really was. In my opinion anyway. Its like when I read other stories he's either nothing like himself, or they make it seem like being shy means your mute, akward and don't speak at all. Because of fear. But in this story he is shy but suttle about it. To where its almost hard to believe. I love the interaction with these two. Oh and I love how he wants friendship and vaules sex. I truly believe he was like that in real life. And its sad that when you have a man like this.... that is kind, honest, seeking friendship, and not so hungry for sex, or a virgin that people tend to lable him as gay, weak, or unattractive. I hate that because to me this is the ideal man. I love men like this, and highly find it attractive. Um... but so far haven't found him yet, lol. But point is I love this story, continue it please. Hi there,
Thanks for such a wonderful and thoughtful response to my chapter. I have just added another few. Obviously there is some sexual content at some stage, but I am a writer by job and by heart, I think the power of fantasy plays a strong part in why people get caught up on sexual content. Obviously fan fic is an outlet for a fantasy and a lot of Michael's admirers fantasise about having a sexual relationship with him. I am sure I felt like that at some stage in my 20 years of fandom, but I was always most interested in being his friend, lol. I wrote this story almost 10 years ago now (updating it a lot over the years) so IMO it gets a lot better written as time goes on and my writing improved. Also, I based the character around myself at the time - socially awkward and scared of everything! Those early 20s are awful!! But sooo full of attitude haha. There are around 80 something chapters in total. I'll check out your writing when I get some time :) Also, THIS Michael is the kind of Michael that I felt like he probably was to a degree :)
