I don't really read too many stories where Michael has a secretary, so wondering why I haven't come across them much. I like how you write not too much for things to get boring with details, and I also like how the dialogue moves or slows the pacing. And the dialogue gives clues about what the person is thinking, like how Michael says Marren will be good at her job when she reminds him to get back to practice from being in her office. There's a lot of examples like that in here. You also weave in how the characters feel about each other or their traits in only a few words, like how Michael doesn't like the way Frank treats the staff, and how he struggles with undereating. Wonderful chapter, and I enjoyed the read so far.
