The sad part is that something similar like this probably was one of his earliest memories, breaks my heart. :( Great job on the oneshot.
Author's Response:
Thank you. Yes sadly I imagine it was :(

Damn Jermaine to hell! Smh. I haven't forgotten what he did and how he acted. On a side not, why only small chapters? It seems to me you write well enough to make this a story worth following.
Author's Response:
I tend to write drabbles/short chapters as I am terrible at updating consistently. For example, in other fandoms outside of MJ I have started writing and then it has been years between updates.

Though this doesn't quite relate to the story, I would like to share my earliest memory of HIM. I can't tell you an age. Because I've quite frankly loved him most of my life. But I can tell you the song and the place. I was riding in the backseat of my father's car and the song "I'll Be There" came on. I was entranced by Michael's vocals and disgusted by Jermaine's. Whereas Michael was soft and angelic, Jermaine was rough and harsh. Years later I would hear that song again and I must have been 8 or 9, I didn't quite distinguish between the Jackson 5 and Michael yet, but I knew that I loved that soft voice from the boy with the "hair". And hated that raspy tone of "the other guy".
Author's Response:
Haha poor Jermaine! Although to be honest when I first started listening to The Jackson 5's early albums I would gloss over any track with a Jermaine only lead.

I loved this short, I wish it was a full story as it is very gripping. You said a lot without needing to say much, it's extremely sad but so descriptive and michael's behaviour was written beautifully! Well done! x
Author's Response:
Thank you very much. I might look into expanding it, if inspiration strikes. Maybe a little drabble series of Michael's time in rehab.
