This story needs to come back. This book keeps me wanting to go from chapter to chapter without pause. Like the exploration of interracial love during the 70s/80s. Holly and Michael’s situation with delving into their sexual attraction for each other, topic of Michael being a Jehovah Witness and Holly being put under pressure to kind of “ fit into that”… Her difficult relationship with her mom and how she finds a mother in her Aunt is sweet and warming. I like this!

This has a lot of potential to be a sweet story..the model you put up for Holly is beautiful. And every time I read about Michael sticking his tongue out I think of those pics from Bad era he did it..lol
I'd watch the change in tenses..but good job, I'll be reading this.

I was so happy to log in and see you have updated.. I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter, though I'm even more curious and concerned about what happened back in New York.. Holly is going through a really tough time now; not to mention Joseph and his controlling nature getting to Michael. I have a feeling that something is quietly brewing as this story continues. Great job!
