Wow, this is incredibly detailed and well-written. I appreciate that you let Michael forget the worst of his life on Earth, because let’s be honest, the press turned that into a mess. Not to mention it opens up opportunities further down the line for plot points should you decide to dust this off and write some more. This first chapter was amazing... Taking a chance in something greatly extraneous as this which doesn't appear up nearly in Slash is extravagent. It's far beyond proficiency... And you created a vivid picture of scenery clearly... Everything was right on point. I loved this...
