Although i understand her anger at him leaving, she DID want him to get better for himself, which is what he did. So i find its a bit selfish of her to react the way she did just because he didnt do it her way. In the end he did get better so she should be happy about that. At least she didnt shut him out completely and is opened to rebuilding their relationship. Hopefully Michael will be able to remain on the right track.
As for her father, im not very happy with him! Its not like Michael left to be with another woman, he left to get better for all of them. The father should have been more understanding of the situation. He cant jjst threaten to stop someone from seeing their child!!

She's more angry that he refused to tell him where he was. she even admitted that a few chapters back. all she asked was for him to say where he was but he refused. you are correct she should be happy he is better but she is in shock and doesnt want to get hurt. as for her father he was just protecting his daughter. a parent will always protect their own and he has seen what the stress has done to his daughter so I cant blame him. he hit Michael where he knew it would hurt because if he didnt he might not have got him to calm down. I applaud Joseph and would want my parent to do the same for me. blood is thicker than water. thanks for reviewing..

Ok I get her dad being not that happy with Michael but he does accept his daughters violence? (The slapping) that's not complete fair either and to be honest you can't totally blame Michael for thinking if it's his child or not since he did saw how close Jojo and Adam were in the beginning
And her dad with the I make sure my daughter gets full custody that's a lost case anyways if it really came to that which it luckily didn't
Hopefully jojo will forgive him soon sp they can get married before the baby is born but knowing her stubbornness it'll probably be just before babies first birthday

yea but in michael's jealous mind then Jo was also dating her brother Cody. that's not the first thing you say to a woman you love. I can respect Josephs actions. he is sticking up for his daughter especially after seeing how the stress has affected her life and the health of his grandbaby. he did what he needed to do and hit Michael where he knew it would hurt him the most to stop him. Sure Jo was agressive and it may not have been the right thing to do but Michael certainly got how angry and hurt she was. not the best way to go about it but she certainly isnt a saint nor is michael. thanks for reviewing.

Wow I feel so bad for Michael because we all know that he did have to deal with sadness and anxiety for a good portion of his real life. I know it's fiction but just the way you write your story and put us in his mind makes me realize what kind of life he really lived and it makes me sad... and I'm not any way implying he dealt with everything in real life like in your story, just that we know he had so much trouble sleeping bc of all the BS so to be kind of in his head puts things in perspective.

Knowing Jo's temper, it will be anything but a quiet conversation. She'll either kick Michael out of the house or raise the mother of all couple fights. At any rate. Michael is in for some hard moments and I hope he has his head screwed on tightly enough to handle them rationally.
