No just no. You never struck me as one of those writers who put unnecessary drama or basically random shit in to make a story more interesting. Having them get married is a stupid idea the BARELY have started dating if at all. This will end in a fucking mess. It doesn't fix shit and frankly its not healthy. If thye want to get married someday great but this is a really really bad idea for them to make that legal commitment to each other. His impulsivity is partly the reason why those relationships failed to work, making more commitments does not fix anything it makes those issues or whatever problems they have between each other even worse. Besides how fucking manipulative is that to ask someone to marry you while they're cumming. Thats so horrible about sanjee wish her character had been flushed out more thats so awful
and sudden. I hope Charlie doesn't blame herself. I hope Sekmet stays together. They need each other more than ever. Ya he needa to knock that sleeping pill habit asap or it will get worse. From experience addicts are horrible to be in relationships with because they are selfish and non confrontational, tempermental, and just angry. Love this story please dont have them get married or im sorta ok with him meeting her parents theyre not serious yet so. Like i said marriage doesn't fix shit.

The Marriage proposal wasn't meant to be undue drama. It wasn't mean as drama at all to be honest. It wasn't my intention when I wrote it. It serves a purpose to highlight certain parallels in the story. Ones I see now I should have illustrated a little better to fore shadow a link with the tragedy they're facing. I chose to leave it as I wrote it 4 years ago because my thought behind it still works for the end game. As it stands though a proposal and acceptance doesn't mean they're getting married tomorrow or even next year. It's only a proposal. Like I Told Zendaya. It was impulsive but done for a reason. His previous relationships he did propose however neither was impulsive. He was in long standing relationships with both those women and had well thought out reasons for asking them to marry him. In the spirit of doing things differently (because he is a different person in a lot of aspects) as you'll see him state later on he asked Charlie because he felt it in the moment and didn't want to wait. She accepted because she also wanted it. . It being impulsive doesn't make the sentiment attached invalid.
Charlie is not naive when it comes to Michael so i don't think his intentions were manipulative at all.
Think on it they could have had a traditional Falling in love over time, seemingly no issue relationship for years with a romantic candles and big diamond ring proposal and still that could end terribly. It's all relative. I said that to say if it's going to endure it will regardless of the journey being long or short. Or in this case turbulent.
Youre right about Sanjee tho. Things could have been more fleshed out with her and Slash's journey. You'll see why I say that in the next chapter. That's if you haven't lost faith in my ability to tell a story lol. As for his issue with pills it hasn't made it to addiction quite yet but it's not ruled out and that's what worries Charlie. It's just a eyebrow raiser right now and should be handled before it spirals. I'm glad when all is said and done you still love the story. I truly appreciate that.
Sekmet will stay strong that's a guarantee. We will see more of them upcoming. He'll be meeting her family because she'll be in NYC for the funeral as will he. No avoiding it. More to come! <333

WWow. I wasn't expecting any of this. I'm so taken aback and shock and hurt and all kinds of shit here.
First, let me start off with the lovemaking turned into a in the moment proposal. I felt it was an in the moment thing but i could be wrong. This is Mike were talking about here. Hell, he could be serious as hell about wanting make Charlie his wife until.I see otherwise, it's in the moment. As for Charlie accepting it, in the moment too. They both just now knowing they are in love with each other an now marriage became the first topic of the chapter. I don't think their ready for that step. First, they need to dwell in their new found relationship first for a while and I mean A WHILE, before marriage come.into play. Children these days.
Now let's get to the sad sad part. Lord why!?!?!? Why Sanjee. She was so beautiful, so fun and sweet. I wouldn't have thought for Her to be the one to die in such a way. This breaks y heart along with everyone else. I can feel their pain. I lost a good friend who I attending elementary to junior high with this past summer do to an accident and it hurts alot to lose them. Not being able to say goodbye. I also feel bad for Slash as well because not only is he injured terrible, but he doesn't even know that Sanjee is gone forever. What a chapter girl.

Lmaoooo emotions running wild. I know it was a lot to take in. The story doesn't have too far to go. Well not as I had originally planned it. I'm still thinking on wether to make it longer or keep it as is. We'll see.
Now on to the proposal. While it wasn't traditional it was what it was a proposal and agreement. Marriage doesn't have to take place right away and it rarely does. He felt in the moment he wanted to be with her for the rest of his life so he made the proposal and she accepted. Here's the thought behind it why it was his impulsiveness. In the past two relationships he had he proposed. He was turned down. Not because he was a problematic prick one was because he was being strung along and was more of a naive boy toy the other because he was black and a career was put in front of love. He developed long relationships with those two and asked in a timely as it where romantic way. They didn't work so he went a different route this time. He asked when he felt it instead of waiting.
As for Sanjee and Slash its so sad this will put some perspective in line for Mike and Charlie. You'll see coming up. Well hopefully. Lol. <333

This was a wild ride :( I'm happy that they are open with each other but I do think the proposal and acceptance was a "in the moment" type of thing though it has me confused because they are still considering it. Idk I'm very iffy on love and time. Sometime I feel like if you meet your soulmate, you'll know from the start and time isn't even a thing in a world of love like that but these two have had many problems already and I just pray they are meant for each other. I don't want either of them to be hurt! Finally he told her about his love he had for Her. Finally!!!!!!! Even a few tears were shed from both of them.
