Malania wants to be emotionally independant but she doesn't understand that that's what alienates people from her.

I remember Chris Tucker saying he mentioned to MJ that he liked his TV and MJ told him to take it. Like, literally started unplugging that shit and getting it together so that he could take it. It never surprises me lol.
The puzzle boxes... I have a collection of them. lol. My boyfriend and I are Japanophiles... I got a beautiful one from him for my last bday :)

I thought it would be good to have a spokesperson part of the story to shadow how we all felt but at the same token, to be able to relate to him.
I feel like a lot of fans gravitated toward MJ because probably felt we could have related to things that he clearly suffered with....

I started this story yesterday and just now finished this last chapter at 3:30 in the morning. It's really drew me in and l love how its written from both characters points of views with Vignettes of the past in chapters. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

I love the role that Michael's parents are taking in this story. Most stories make Joseph out to be some demon. I'm glad he made him see that doctor. Malania! I see her name and I think of the video game final fantasy X's Malania Temple lol.
I like how calm and compassionate she is. Speaking of people fainting... the average fangirl probably would have fainted at Michael's invitation inside the gate.

To be fair, I don't really feel like Joseph was a demon, I feel like he had misplaced his love for his children; or for Michael. I feel like he measured his success of a parent on the level of MJ's success as a musician. Any child would feel or know that and thus he would have felt estranged, but I bet deep down both of them truly knew that when the time was right for it, Joseph always had his back.
That's my theory, anyway! For whatever its worth, lol!
Malania is a name I've heard around in my family of distant relatives and of a long-time-passed Eastern European friend. I love it :)

I think the whole thing with Rosa was misunderstood. She didn't bounce, more like that in a tumulteous situation, everything happened so fast and she would have pushed out in the craziness.
I can imagine MJ wanting to just run away and hide in bed and put his hands over his ears.
