I think angst is normal, but we rarely see it reflected in fan fics, usually things are all butterflies and rainbows where the OG cant ever see flaws in MJ or the flaws of his life arent shown up..... or the alternative is that they are in the most extreme way. I wanted to try to find middle ground.

I felt so bad for Mal having to adjust to the center but she needs to be there. I hope with help and time she could actually become intimate with Michael not just sex but be able to have him touch her without her flying through the roof.
