I guess Raia made a good point: Probably noone (in Malania´s family) is really able to understand what Malania suffered. She´s deeply scarred. I did not realize until this chapter that she also was in fear of her life during the attacks...

I knew something would go down with Michael and Kaito going out. It was inevitable given he was hurting.
I trust what Mal says about Anica. She's vying for some sort of control that I don't agree with wether or not it's coming from a malicious place. She's not Mals mother. She failed to be supportive and was very dismissive of her trauma while it was happening. If it's guilt or whatever driving her concern it's not valid in my book. That's not enough. She has to at least genuinely care for Mal. I think Kaito is her best bet. He's accepted his role in this whole ordeal. No one else has.
Mal also has to understand that her feelings are valid and in turn so are everyone else's It's a two way street. It's infuriating but she has to see other's feelings don't invalidate her own. Vise Versa for everyone else too.
Intense man!!

But I´m curious now why Samuel "changed" from one day to another and what might have happened to him. Kaito introduced this issue too clearly to have it not be part of the continuing story ...

So last chapter was heavy. Sigh.
So Sam bit the dust. I can't say I feel anything but relief in a way like Mal does. It's surprising I can tell you that much. Losing a child is a heartbreaking thing I can only imagine but to go with the story they lost Sam a long time ago. He terrorized the whole family. How can they not all be breathing a sigh of relief? He brutalized his little sister and destroyed her life how dare her mother pull blame out of her ass. That angers me to no end and I know Mal is going to be furious when she finds out.
As for Casey I feel her POS grandmother might be coaching her. Diane is a spineless so and so so she's letting it just happen.
Or maybe Larry had something to do with it threatening her mother's life if she tells the truth blah blah blah. Just theories. Lol
So much coming to a head now.

Wow, that was a deep chapter. Lots of emotions and fears coming out, but this is good, this is the true path to healing. Malania has a lot to heal from, but she will be able to differentiate true passion from abuse and when she feels how love should happen, her past will be powerless to keep her back.

Oh god. This chapter was so intense. I felt every bit of tension in that room with them. I knew it was going to be difficult but man I really hope Mal doesn't shut him out. She's doing more harm to herself than good if she does that. It was heartbreaking to witness. She needs to know that within our flaws as humans we deserve love. They both do.
