So, hopefully this is constructive criticism. I'm not sure about Mama Pearl. I feel like the way she is depicted infantilizes Michael. She's a bit too much IMO. I like the idea of her, but wonder if it goes a bit too far to have her talk to him the way she does and him ask her naive questions (e.g. I'd think he'd already know he had big hands...).
Even a rundown neighborhood in SB is $$$$. I think it's so sad that she's so embarrassed about her place.
I really hope her tumor doesn't come back. No deaths in this story, please!

About the apt in sb i couldn't put it in LA because she needed to be in close proximity to the ranch so I made a crap shoot decision. Thanks for the feed back on mama Pearl. I'll take that in consideration. I wanted her to be a charedter who is that wise black woman who's seen everything. michaels more of a nieve charecter in this story..the corner I painted myself into was I set it in an newer era and screwed myself so now I have to stick with it.

His real voice is a much lower register plus she's not a super fan..she's a prince fan...lol. Plus that's not what she's thinking about. You know out of context type thing.

Oh wow, that's some heavy stuff. I so sad to find out that Megan's mom committed suicide. Then finding out that before Megan's mother passed her father abandoned both for someone else. He has some nerve. Asking her for money even knowing what she's been through. The cherry on top has the gall to call his own daughter a B*tch. I see this story has 2 Major *SSHOLES.
So Megan works at a bar. As a bartender. Like a Friday's, Buffalo Wild Wings or is it a t*tty bar? Sorry I have a very curious nature. I guess will have to wait and read on :).
Poor Michael he is so naughty & innocent at the same time. Is a major turn on ;).

Well I gotta start with Mama Pearl. I adore this lady funny, loving and very fiesty. She told MJ to sit his sexy self down lol, I think everyone needs one of her in our lives.
Is very obvious that there is a big attraction. Megan likes Mike. So cute she wrote on his hand call me her number and a heart around it ;). I feel bad that Megan try to make him lunch and the bread was moldy, I mean MJ said the bread was green which in turn I have to ask. Is she receiving any government aid? Housing, food stamps or is she getting in defenectly medical leave from her passed job?
I guess she felt embarrassed about her apartment but, MJ carefully follow and knows where she really lives. I guess they both have secrets.

Thanks for mentioning mama Pearl...I really liked her when I created her. I picture this large black woman in a flowery dress, black shoes, and an apron. Some woman that lived through the segregation in the 50's and 60's and from the Deep South which michael loves seeing that's where his Mommas family is from.
