I'm glad Michael tired so hard to remedy his mistake and told her why he was playing the ass in the first place. Though it's not a reasonable reaction to something they really need to discuss on a deeper level. They play too many games instead of simply talking things out. That and he needs to see about his drinking issue.
I agree with Annie's_NotOKmj Nina needs to not be so negative when it comes to them having an issue. It's almost like she's looking for reasons to end things between them. I know she loves Michael but she has not let go of Marcus that much is evident in her behaviour. And while she doesn't have a view into the future to know what will happen. At least put some more possitivity into moving forward not just outwardly but inside as well. If she truly has let go of Marcus and Michael is who she wants to be with she would not have subconsiously added the "for now" to her declaration.
PREGNANT!?!?! Wow that will ne another conundrum to add to the mix.
Gawd I seriously pray for these two.

Being the sheltered pop star that he is... Michael doesn't know how to deal with this situation. He can't wrap his head around why Marcus has to stay in the picture, but Nina isn't making it easy for him to understand. Drinking the feelings away and pretending to be happy is definitely not the answer though.
Her negativity is mostly just fear and the control issue. If she gives herself 100% wholeheartedly to Michael that leaves her very vulnerable and she's resistant to that, but at the same time it takes giving 100% for a relationship to work.

She gave him the final ultimatum he gets that drunk again and they're through. We'll see how quitting cold turkey works out for him first before those measures are taken. The workload thats about to get dropped on him and the future tour may strike up a whole other addiction to be treated for.

Hopefully he seeks some professional help for this issue with alcohol that he has, because it's not just an occasional thing anymore and to become as belligerent as he did... Also, Nina needs to stop with all the negative shit. I mean, every time they have a fight or something she starts talking about how she's doubting this and that. She's sabotaging their relationship herself. I just want her to be real already. She talks a good game, but it's obvious she still isn't straight about the subject of Marcus.

You're absolutely right. The situation with Marcus is still hazy. He might not think he has a real problem with alcohol so he'll probably stay in denial about it. Nina likes to be in control of her world letting go of Marcus completely is like losing a bit of control. Cause if things fail with Michael she can always have him to fall back on.

Is Michael purposely trying to drive Nina away? Because he knows Nina doesnt like him flirting with other women and drinking yet he did both this one night. I get that he's not happy with the Marcus situation but this is a crazy way of dealing with it, its like he's chosen a path to self destruction.
Nina is being too chill about this I think... He needs to be taught a lesson. A painful lesson... Lets see... I say Michael should be locked in a room with Iggy Azalea and be forced to listen to her freestyle :)

Anyway lol Thanks for the review! Yeah Michael was pretty much doing every single thing wrong. He doesn't have his head on straight. He thinks he's got room to fuck up now that Nina has but his fuck up just completely blew hers out of the water and now he's just the bad guy.

Michael's acting out because he's got those feelings about Marcus all bottled up inside. They never really talked through that issue like they should have or like they should with any of their issues. None of his decisions were very good that night. He'll be ashamed of himself for sure.

Michael does NOT need to flirt with her. He can ask questions, be polite, and be reserved. That isn't rude. Especially if he includes his wife/fiance. I like that Nina went with him...it shows that she is putting an effort into their relationship.

Wow that certainly got his attention! Tsk tsk lol but like TutThreeSevens I feel quite uneasy with Nina's choice of words and I believe they need to talk further... Btw when is Marcus coming out? I can't remember if you mentioned it before lol but it will certainly be interesting when he makes his appearance! It would be great to have some flashbacks of their relationship, but only do it if you feel it's relevant not cos I've said lol :P

I dont' think it was specifically mentioned, but at the end of The Surrogate he still had another year. So its September in the story now and he'll be out in March. It's coming soon!!
I totally thought about writing flashbacks of their relationship, but I was like I don't want to bore the audience nobody cares about the relationship between two OCs they're here to read about MICHAEL, but if I've got readers interested I can definitely incorporate some.

Oh wow, and it all blew up in her face just as she feared... Not that I blame Michael though.
Nina is being quite naive to the clear fact that Marcus wants her back. Its like she's saying she loves Michael but she's not telling Marcus as straight as I'd like her to, and that's quite understandable because she still cares about him. You can't stop caring about a person you've known so long and been in love with.
Due to this Michael's developing insecurities and questioning her love for him.. D; Even though I get his feelings and pain he needs to ease up on Nina.
I feel for whoever is going through a similar type of situation in real life! (not the surrogacy and marrying a superstar part lol hopefully you get me so I don't need to explain :P)
