My inspiration for Michael is based off of what I feel his personality was like... in a way. He was more open to people he knew and he was funny, he threw shade at times and he was very sassy plus he was a HUGE flirt. That combined with him moving to New York at a young age he picked up a lot of the New York vibe. He is VERY NYC in this story. Those things balled into one created this version of him.

I'm glad you like my writing style. I enjoy the internal monologues a lot. I'm a Poe fan and he does alot of that. I like for the charaters to be defined by what they are thinking. So if some charaters become more intregral they will get their own internal monologue. That way you get why they do the things they do. things the others arund them don't readyly see.

Elard is a shitty ass boyfriend. He's fine as heck and nice to look at but that's it. I really hope she's done with him because I can't stand him. Talking about he's still in love with her... boy, get your life.
On a more positive note, Saul and Amos are the funniest things ever! They really know how to make a girl feel better even when the man she loves is being a reclusive and distant dick. I mean really, it's not like he's never going to see her again. A text or call would be fine you know. He needs to stop running away for real. :(
