Secondly, I think that Taj jumped all the way to conclusions. Can't a man and woman have a simple water fight without something going on? LOL. But I can only imagine the electricity emanating off of their bodies when they are together.
Lastly, I am glad that the cat is finally out of the bag. No more sneaking around. No more lies. I'm excited to see where exactly we go from here.
Side bit. I gasped out loud when Michael called Taj by his full name. Lmao.

I'll be around. LOL. It takes me awhile, but I'm not on hiatus. Temporary or permanent. I'm out of retirement permanently, but I'm still working a full time job, my time management sucks, and this story ain't paying no bills...lol.
Plus, did I mention that I wrote a whole sex scene at the end of this, but then wound up chickening out, making it a dream sequence, and then ultimately deleted it because it didn't seem like the right time or place for it in the story? 31 chapters with no sex? GIRL. That is not my M.O. ha ha.

I have a serious question. If everyone in the entire universe tells Keisha that her skin was sent from the African ancestors themselves, why in EVERY retelling of herself does she have such insecurities about it? It is a societal/cultural thing. Colorism is still a real plague in the Black community. Remember, Keisha doesn't see herself the way that others see her.

Second. Star of the Story is a true masterpiece. One of my favorite ballads.
Third. Michael is really pulling a "Girlfriend" with that last line. "I'm gonna tell your boyfriend..." and for some reason, I'm not even mad about it. I just really want Taj to take the hint and move on. Even tho I feel a little bad for him; it's sad to see him sticking around when he knows she's pulling away.
Also, Krista... hm. I just wanna know why she assumed the kids in the picture were starving. Was it because they were skinny or because they were African? Either way, she rubbed me the wrong way. But she ain't dumb, she knows that Keisha has one uped her in more ways than one.
