I'm going to look into archive of our own! Is it good? Wattpad is...scary. I don't know why so many MJ Fiction sites are going the way of the Dodo. I mean, I kinda know why, but...his fandom is still going strong.
I'm going to try to write a little faster. I keep saying that, but then I take my sweet time posting chapters, but I like quality over quantity.

Black spirituality, tarot cards... I love it.
I was so happy when EmmaLee talked about a "fiery man". Michael did have a good amount of Leo energy in his chart, which explains his fiery nature on stage and somewhat needy behavior regarding receiving attention. His Pisces moon and rising, alongside his Virgo sun can help explain that duality that comes with him being a "man-child", which also made me happy when she played with the idea of a man who has a child or a man that acts like a child. Tarot cards really are goofy like that.
I really did enjoy that tarot card scene. Tante really read the hell outta Keisha.
Even tho Michael and his heart scares me, he deserves Keisha. He really is working overtime and is willing to mess up everything just to have her. Him sending her flowers and jewelry to her family's home, knowing that nobody knows is a big deal. Michael isn't perfect and neither is Kiesha but I really hope she chooses him. Taj acts too much like a little scared kid for me.

I had to work that in since it's something that I'm super into. Y'know, strangely enough, I've never looked at Michael's chart before. I just thought about what personality type could be and what this scenario woiuld look like if it showed up in a tarot spread. I thought about how Michael would show up in a tarot spread and he would never show up as a King of Pentacles to me...despite being a Virgo. Thanks for confirming that for me! Michael's personality was interesting for sure. That's why it's so hard for me to believe that a man with that much fire in him would be thought of as asexual. Mike had puss for days. We know. We been knew. LOL
Tante EmmaLee has been dead in the other stories. It was nice to bring her back to life and give her a personality and a gift.
Oddly enough, I think that Keisha THINKS that Taj is more her speed. Michael is too much for her, and has boldly stated that. And I think that's what keeps her hanging on in there with Taj. Taj is the training wheels. Michael is the 10 speed. LOL

When I say that I can't fathom why am 18 year old would want to play stepmom to someone's lying and conniving son, I mean that with all of my being. Lol. She's not even feeling him! Or even if she is feeling him, she's feeling you know who a little bit more. Clearly, she thinks that Taj using her as a rebound. Meanwhile, you have Mr. Prague trying to whoo her with everything he's got. And I'm actually surprised her Mama didn't smack her upside the head for messing with two men at the same time.
Side note, I check this website three times a day for updates for this story. I'm clearly hopeless.

I think Keisha believes that Taj is the man she deserves, especially now that the guilt of messing around with two men and essentially lying to one of them has consumed her. She can overlook Taj's faults because she acknowledges and is still dwelling on her own. She's harder on herself than Kenny and her Mother and Aunt (who now know the truth) could ever be.

Another lovely chapter. Keisha has a tough decision to make and she knows it. Kenny, her mother, and aunt were all correct about that. I think it says a lot that even when she is with Taj, she can’t wtop thinking about Mr.33. I wonder what it is she is going to say to him when she gets back to LA and I wonder if she’lol accept his request to spend the weekend at Neverland. Maybe Kenny was right when he said that Keisha has already made her choice and maybe now Kenny will get to meet MJ lol. Can’t wait for the next chapter! :)

Girl, I'd welcome whatever material you bring to the table, a reboot, new characters or whatever! I do agree about how Keisha is such a solid lovable character but we would also welcome a new girl if your heart so desires to create one. That's beautiful that you view your stories that way of what you'd want for yourself and you're absolutely correct that we feel the same. I for one am hoping to find someone to rub my scalp tenderly while humming softly to me like Mr. 33 just did to Keisha 😩!! Like seriously that's the stuff that makes me melt. BUT that was a Brilliant cliffhanger because I'm thinking she's either referencing ending her relationship with Taj because she realizes she's falling for Mike or she is talking about ending things with Mike out of guilt she has for Taj. We had a lot to unpack especially with her fathers death. Poor thing was so strong to deliver that eulogy but I love how real you still portrayed her as she gets drunk and is ready to throw caution to the wind. I love that Michael wasn't selfish in that moment while she was very vulnerable and told her he wanted her whole heartedly first AND that she wasn't ready for him 😠...*fans self*
Also,I knew Kenny was already handsome based off his previous descriptions but a mix of Blair AND Denzel?! DAMN he gotta be fine as hell. No wonder Roxy was giving him the stare down.

This chapter was the most difficult to write on many levels. I struggled a little with tone. For HALF a second, I almost considered tossing in a sex scene, but I think it would have ruined he chapter, and I'm not trying to paint myself into a corner with the plot. LOL
I love Kenny. Love, Love, Love Kenny. I needed him to be handsome to play up Keisha and Emeraude's beauty. If they are fraternal, and Keisha's beauty is out of this world. In my mind, Keisha is a mixture between Justine Skye and Lanisha Cole.
I'll upload a reference pic for Kenny a little later. Maybe next chapter. I saw this amazing looking guy (who sorta looked like my ex and now I'm bothered LOL), and I said...THAT'S KENNY!

I really appreciate the update. The 25th's been always a lonely and sad day for me, always struggling within my inner self. If I could describe this chapter in one word, it would be freedom. Keisha's father not longer in pain, Michael traveling from Prague to New Orleans, Keisha running in the rain, Keisha and Michael taking care of themselves... Extremely beautiful. Kenny is an interesting character; he's hella handsome and intuitive. He knows her sister is not happy, she's hiding something. Amazing plot.

First of all, the song selection was perfect. Donny Hathaway is great for any occasion and I was happy to see him being used in another MJ story.
