This is a really good start to a veeeeeery good story!!!!!
Can I make a suggestion? Maybe you could have the next chapter, or at some point in this story, do a flashback chapter to how all of this started/ began? Like you could go back to the beginning to where Michael's relationship with his wife and kids were good, then you could tell about there downhill tailspin all the way to where they are now.
