plot: Michael and I haven't spoken for weeks. We're married, but after the day we ended up in a car crash after a date night, we haven't been the same. I'm upset and feel guilty (I had been driving that night) and try repeatedly to get michael to acknowledge me, talk to me, anything, but the most I get is a scattered word or phrase here and there. Not even eye contact.
Eventually, I discover he has a bouquet of flowers ordered and he goes out to our "spot" (where we had our first date, first kiss, etc), not even inviting me but I follow him anyways. I become upset, thinking he's seeing somebody else, having the nerve to meet at our special place. It doesn't make it better when he has the good grace to shed a tear, but he keeps going.
When he finally arrives at our place - me demanding the whole way that he at least LOOK AT ME and say goodbye to my face, but I stop and realize there's a headstone in front of him - with my name on it.
The accident comes rushing back to me: me driving us home on a rainy night After a great anniversary, something happens to make us flip and tumble off the road, Michael pulls us both out, I have a major injury and Michael has to carry me, trying to stop me from going to sleep. I try, but sadly I give in to the fatigue that I can't shake.
I'll leave it up to you how it ends. I hope I wasn't so specific that I've made it difficult. It doesn't have to be EXACTLY how I described, but I would like something along those lines.
