Author's Response: Lol once again I apologize for this chapter being too short. And to answer your question, when Michael was younger he did have a fear of flying but I'm not too sure when that fear started to fade away in real life. I just thought it would make a nice scenario. As far as Cherell being pregnant, we'll probably find out about that whenever she finds out about that. So stay tuned :) Thanks for welcoming me back. Author's Response: Yeah, I've been told that Taraborelli is not a good source. I don't believe everything I hear and read anyway. The scenarios I include in my story are just loosely based on some true events but whatever I choose to include I make sure Michael is never shown in a negative light. Still hooked on this story. If it is January 1980, Good Times hadn't been on for nearly a year and Taj would still be 5 (we are the same age). Great story, well developed characters, just pay more attention to details that make the story pop, like microwave popcorn wasn't a thing in 1979. We made it with an electric popcorn popper. The details are what really take the reader to that period of time.
Author's Response: Glad you're still hooked lol. Yes, it's January 1980 and Good Times actually premiered on TV sometime in February 1974. And yes, Taj was born August 4, 1973 which puts him at seven around this time. But you are right about the two of you being pretty close in age :). However, Taryll was born August 8, 1975, which would put him at almost five years old at this time. So the two of you are REALLY REALLY close in age :D That's actually really cool Soulbaby76! You're lucky to have been born during such an awesome time. It's like you have your own special connection to Michael. And thanks for the advice about the electric popcorn popper. I'll definitely keep that in mind. I make an effort to do a fair amount of research since this is all happening before my time (I'm a 90s baby lol) but some minor things do tend to fall through the cracks every now and then. I'm enjoying this story a lot. A few things you included were characteristic of today, not 1979. I was only 5, but I remember some things. Watching Good Times and What's Happening may help keep some of the authenticity of the time. But overall, I couldn't stop reading g, I had to force myself to put it down and go to bed last night. Bravo!

But I agree that there's always room for improvement so I'll definitely take your advice under consideration. So glad you've fallen in love with my story :)
