LOL Very interesting idea. If it was a year and a half ago I would have been chanting for Cassie to cheat on Michael too. But if Cassie were to cheat on Michael he would be justified in leaving her. In fact I applaud her for letting it go.
Now if he does it again then I could understand her feeling as if all she did was worth nothing, because now he's making it a habit. I found it makes you feel guilty for allowing it to put you in a position where you diminish yourself just to get revenge. But hey everyones experiences are different, maybe you can feel better after cheating on someone just because they did it to you. But I regret doing it. It's a waste of time when you could just work it out or leave. :D
Now don't get me wrong I can understand peoples anger and low tolerance of cheating after all people in the world are notorious for it. Being cheated on is very painful, I just figured I'd share a little bit about how I felt after getting revenge.
I love the story!!! I would agree with you. Balance is key for everything in life. Too much of anything is not good. As far as killing Cassie off. I love how you said it. You sound like a Goddess almost. "Hell I almost her killed off, but what fun is that?!?!?!" XD my sense of humor may not appeal to people, but that just reminded me of something a Greek God or Goddess would say. Or someone who is supernatural having fun torturing someone's life. I was just waiting for you to let out an evil laugh. lol but great work.

I guess writing is god like. It's fiction and you can do whatever you want and not hurt anyone. I can sit back and write whatever and unintentially push buttons. In my other story Michael is a real butthole in the beginning and people loved the drama. Maybe it's the step away from what everyone thinks he should have been. Now to me what is amazing is I put a lot of effort into their marriage and vows and no one said a word but he got drunk and slept around and it's the end of the world. I think it's hilarious. I've had people say they have cried etc. thanks for your humor it's warped like mine.

Sure, love. My whole thing is we know Michael was drunk or whatever when he cheated, but I still feel it was incredibly careless and callous of him. Especially when Cassie gave gave him a warning about that doctor. Then on top of that, they still had to see the bitch? It was just something that was alternate worldly, IMO cuz in no way would a woman be that composed and forgiving like Cassie was. Michael woulda got his ass beat, right along with that woman. That whole fiasco only lasted a couple chapters, and I understand that you feel the story would've gotten boring by keeping them apart, but that shoulda played out way differently, IMO. Cassie is a better woman than me b/c I would STILL be angry, and probably be angry for a long time. And he would need to earn everything back. The fact that she's back having sex with him AND before her six weeks is up speaks volumes about her mind state and self esteem right now. At this point, since everything is all good and dandy for Michael, I would love to see how the roles would reverse if she were to have sex with someone else. Cassie is young and presumably beautiful, and the only man she's been with sexually is Michael. And now she's married to him. She's given up everything for him. Her virginity, her pride, her independence b/c she got pregnant very quickly... I just feel like michael has it made. He can go out and cheat and still keep his dick and his teeth? And have sex wit the wife? Lol wow. Maybe I'm mean, but I hope she cheats on him and we can see if he's as forgiving as she was, which was too damn much in my opinion.

There is no wrong or right in any of it. You are right I couldn't keep the battle go on forever as I think people would get bored. Unfortunately with writing you have to be careful of painting yourself into a corner. And it's hard to translate you thoughts onto paper but keep it interesting. The beauty is that it's just fiction and made up. I love that the whole drunken affair has caused so many emotions with people. Did I take where people wanted that's debatable. My experience is that everyone likes drama conflict and sex so it's finding the balance Hell I almost killed her off during birth but what fun would that be in a romance? Anywho thanks for the words. I'll see if I can work in a fling or something down the road. :)

I'm Very interestied in the why behind your comment . I love feedback to see what emotions my writing took them. Most side with poor michael and some are poor Cassie. But I could only judge the effect of the alcohol based on how Michael reacted to it, since everyone reactions differ to alcohol. When I'm drunk I can remember everything I did that night, I know people who can not remember a thing.The fact that He called Cassie's name while he was with the doctor says he went through with his actions because the alcohol effected him to a point where he forgot whom he was with. Now where Michael is at fault is due to the fact that Michael expressed he had used alcohol before so he should already know how he responds to it. Therefore the only responsibility I would put on him here is his having gotten drunk. So i would agree with you there.
I would also keep in mind that I've seen cases in life where women have played this game with men where the woman gets drunk, sleeps with a guy, and then reports him to the police for having taken advantage of her. And some of these guys have gotten in trouble for it because some officers say that sleeping with someone intoxicated is almost the same a rape, because person who is drunk is not in a position to think straight if they did not want to go through with the action. So therefore I feel it's the same for a man. Women should not sleep with an intoxicated man(unless they are together) or she is simply taking advantage of him.

I think its funny reading peoples response to the Mike getting drunk chapter. I keep finding ways to throw in conflict because it seems to be what people really like. I guess this was a good choice because it caused so many emotions with people. Thats the beauty of fiction you can write whatever you want and its either a success or an epic fail.
