I would definitely agree Michael should be handling this better than he is. I mean, I would much rather a person feel sorry for what they did than to handle it the way most people do these days and feel good about hurting someone and then write a song about it. But nearly killing yourself wont help either. He needs to forgive himself, if Cassie leaves, he did what he could to fix it and then it would be time to move on and do better. Cassie does have some thinking to do. Maturity is always the best way to handle a situation, especially this one.

Yea things are getting worse, but I doubt this all happening just because of an affair. There are people out there who have done worse than cheat once. He's just confused and scared so of course he'll blame himself for everything, when eveything is not his fault. But I hope over time he comes to let it go, as well as Cassie.
I hope Bri is alright. With her parents being in an emotional state right now. I agree with Michael, their focus should be on getting her well.

Oh he knows he screwed up and is angry at himself. His pattern throughout the story was that his when he's angry he lashes out. Look back to the paparazzi incident and the media incident in London. He lashes out at the nearest punches bag. On the dr strange love they didn't go back to her they went to the ER in the middle of the night and she was the only dr on call and their daughter needed to be seen. The place they are in is a small town. To a major hospital system. The initial concern was to get their daughter treated. He realised he shouldn't have trusted her now. Hindsight....They still hadn't returned to her on their own that's why he took her to a larger city for treatment. Now the problem is Cassie won't be the punching bag anymore, where do the go and what happens to the child. Now it's time to lay all the cards out on the table and play with the hand I've dealt them.

My two cents is that I am sure Michael would not willfully be unfaithful under normal circumstances I only would be able to see that happening in a case like the one you have here (Michael being too intoxicated to be aware as being drunk can take away someone's sense of awareness) or a misunderstanding where someone forced themselves upon him and though he told her to get away and conclusions were drawn before finding out the truth or if both Cassie and Michael were having problems that were irreparable so they separated..
I am glad Cassie didn't half kill Michael or Dr. Young because at the end of the day it would not have made sense and was not worth fighting over so if Cassie was like "you want him, you can have him " to Dr. Young and divorced Michael then it would have been understandable after all you show no one that you love them more than they love you
