Well, it seems that Riley can't get past this Robyn Michael thing. And while I totally respect the whole "You're my daughter not my friend my love life is provate thing" (beleive me I do) I also agree that Michael and Robyn are making a mistake.

Simple reason why. They first met throrugh Michael paying her to have sex with him. They next met up when he was teaching her class. They kept seeing each other, kinda, and they're doing it again. The first scenario was ILLEGA.

Now, with this scenario, teacher and student, he could lose his job and his reputation. Robyn could be expelled or ostracized, but Michael, to me, has the most to lose because he is the "adult" with the "authority" and therefore the most responsibility. 

Michael is risking his job now to be with Robyn. And if Michael loses this job, and is exposed to the world, what chance does he have at a real relationship with Riley, the daughter of that guy who fucked his students? She'd be affected badly too.

 

So I ain't against Robyn and Mike in the jealous childish way that Riley is. But I do think they are risking a bit too much with this relationship.

Grr, what is with me these days, I'm just ranting like a crazy ass over fictional characters!!!

oh, by the way, this line: 

“I would love to stay here with you and talk with you girls” Prince says breaking the silence “But... I don’t find excuses so, do you” Prince shrugs walking to the stairs “But not on my couch!”

Indeeed, you said it! Riley is jealous that there is another woamn in Michael's life that isn't Tatiana, but she is even more pissed that it's her friend AND that her father is too blind to think about the consequences. As you said, since the very beginning, what happened between Michael and Robyn was illegal. Unless Robyn gradute or Michael decide to work somewhere else, it will be still be illegal!

So why do you think Michael and Robyn should do? Break up until Robyn graduate so that they can be LEGAL and avoid Riley's wrath?

Damn....poor Riley.

I'm trying to imagine growing up with a crappy biological father who caused my mother pain, then finally getting a stedad who is more of a father than my biological one, and then having that stepdad break up with my mom and hating her, and not knowing why until I try to bring tham back together, and then finding out that the reason my honorary father hates my real mother is because my real mother slept with my crappy biological dad.

But I can't imagine because it's never happened to me. 

I do find myself feeling this: as much as I deplore cheaters, and I don't want Tati and Mike to get back together, I also believe in forgiveness. Forgiving tatiana doesn't mean Michael has to get back with her; it means that, for the sake of their DAUGHTER, he can be civil to her...at the least. Tatiana may want him back, but I have the feeling she wants what's best for her babygirl more than anything else. 

Ideally, I'd want Tati and Mike to be friends so their daughter doesn't feel caught in the middle, because that's who fucking matters here--the daughter. I feel for Mike, I really do, but I find his behavior towards Tatiana embarrassing especially in front of Riley. No child should have to witness vitriol between her parents...don't people realize how much that fucks up the child?

(sigh)

Anyway, I'm really really hoping Tatiana and Michael find a middle ground, both need to stop being fucking babies. Only after all of it is over can things go anywhere with Robyn.

Speaking of Robyn...I have a bad feeling Riley's going to lash out at her right now. She's way to vulnerable to filter herself now. 

You've really got me hooked on this story, Annie, I just can't stop talking aabout it! LOL

Riley's childhood must have been  everything but happy and when she finally finds happiness with Michael, he leaves and she still doesn't know why. But this therapy will change everything! She will know the truth about everything and as you said, Robyn beter watch out because Riley is angry and nobody should get in her way now!

As much as I hate Rihanna because she is just too trash and useless to the music industry... I love this song! And it's true that I can relate to Michael and Robyn when I read the lyrics!!

Aww, poor Riley getting all the hate on the world LOL. But I feel her; she doesn't know why her parents got a divorce, she only talked to her father on the phone, she moves to NY to be closer to him but he is too busy thinking, stalking, hitting on Robyn to even notice that she just wants him to be a father for her. And above all; she doesn't know WHO IS HER REAL FATHER! She is confused and agry and she doesn't know who to blame

My life lit up with this line:

He needs to leave before he does something wrong. He needs to leave, fix his mistakes with Riley before coming back to Robyn. He needs time to make it right. He will come back to her, in due time

That is the entire point!!! Finally! Robyn and Michael start thinking of other people besides themselves!!! Michael is finally stepping up as a father and doing what he needs to do to set things right!!!

I can't wait to see how his talk with Riley goes. Father and daughter need to rebuild their bond again...lovers may come and go, but that's his little girl....his only child....and that's her daddy, the most important man in her life....they are....family...

 

Sorry, I'm just a daddy's girl so this stuff always gets to me!!!! ARgh! excuse me while I go wipe my eyes...

Hey RC!! I feel you! It's about damn time that Michael thinks about something else than kissing or stalking Robyn. I have to say when I re-read this line I was like

 ".lovers may come and go" I don't know if it's only me but I feel the shade to Robyn. That was powerful LOOL! I think it will get better if Tatiana stop pretending like she is innocent in this situation first! They need therapy like Lily and Michael!
