Aw, poor michael. :( i wonder what it could be like to have such fear for a parent. I hear real life stories of parents and children who are estranged, who hate each other....and I hold my mom and dad a little tighter afterwards.

Yeah I mean it was truly hard for michael. Even though he forgave him he sid he was still nervous around him and would sometimes have to excuse himself because he felt he was going to throw up (and sometimes he did)
so yeah Joe basically ruined so many things for Michael, especially his self-confidence.
