Once again, beautiful :) I love how she fitted in with the family so well, of course she would :) The last part was so sweet and when Katherine had to reach over and shut Michael's gaping mouth - that made me laugh out loud!

This story is amazing, I just love the characters and the chemistry and the interesting plot. I can see your passion through your words and I just LOVE that you've created such a wonderful character like Siobhan - strong, independent and selfless.. not one of the cutesy girly-girls found mostly in other stories. I really hope you continue to write this story.. I don't know if I'm too late, but I really hope you get to see this review.

Hi, Cleo! Thanks so much for the wonderful review. I grew up in a very Irish home, so Siobhan is really an amalgam of several of the women in my family. Strength and stoicism amidst love and passion are traits I find very much ingrained in Irish culture, particularly its women. They are, in fact, the very definition of a woman to us. They are also traits that can conflict with one another as often as they meld, which I suspect may be what oftentimes drives an Irish man to drink lol. I will continue the story now that the holidays are over with. I hope you will continue reading, and please let me know what you think as the story continues.

I was also thrilled to learn of your appreciation of my poem. That, moreso than anything I've sumbitted anywhere, felt as though it just poured out of me. Michael meant so much to me because I always saw him as a kind, gentle but very strong person. He gave us so much through both his deeds and his music, but he was a prisoner to his fame. He was so young when The Jackson 5 was formed that he said himself he could never remembr a time that he wasn't performing. For forty years, he gave us his all. but it can be said that he was always almost surreal. He touched the whole world with his talent. I wanted to create a counterpart for him who had her own money as well as her own claim to fame, but not another singer, but most importantly, a woman unafraid to follow her heart. I wanted Siobhan to be almost on the same level as Michael, but in area other than entainment. I'm glad you are enjoying the interaction between Michael and Siobhan. Wait until they have their first fight!
