I think what helps your already wonderful story is the fact that every new chapter is unexpected or comes between long periods. An it's never some rom-com cliche catalyst that makes everything alright. It's baby steps, coming closer to where you want your charactesr to be. This chapter is no diferent. I respect that, and I admire you. I take my hat off to you.
