Thank you so much! Sure, I'd be happy to explain it. Michael is saying he is not complaining about the way his visit turned out. A rain check means simply to postpone something for another day. Like if plans were cancelled, a "rain check" is an expression used to say plans will resume for a later day. :) Hope this helped you out, Alina!
