Cherell (Sher-el) is the secret wife of Michael Jackson. That is, until she and Michael decide to announce to the world their fourteen year hidden love affair via an exclusive interview hosted by Oprah Winfrey. During this interview, Cherell and Michael travel back in time, as early as the late seventies, and revisit the birth and growth of their love. However, as they recap on the magic that brought them together, they also ponder over the fame, insecurity, and jealousy that almost tore them apart forever.

I love the story already !! But just one thing : that picture doesn't fit the time of the story " summer 1979". Note that Off The Wall was released the same week as MJ's 21 birthday in 1979 so that means that he, at that time, was just the way he is in Off The Wall. This is a pic from 1977-78.
But apart from this the story is amazing and I'm only at the second chapter !!! Thank you !!
Author's Response: Thank you! You're probably right about the pic though, but I think it might be too late for me to change his look up now. There's a certain part in the story where I have him transition over into his jheri curl phase and look a little older. But I really do appreciate the sidenote though. I've bought black orchid and I just have one word: OH MY GOD!! (Lol one word is not enough!!) IT'S SMELLS PERFECTION, SENUSALITY, AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY!!! Lol!
“You didn’t have to get me anything, Michael. This must have cost a fortune,” I smiled as I brought my hand up to the diamond choker around my neck, my fingertips brushing against the precious stones.
He grinned and leaned back against the headboard, aimlessly brushing my tresses off my shoulders, “I just wanted to get you something special.” His hand trailed down from my shoulder to my arm and then to my hand resting on the satin sheets. His skin was warm, but I instantly stiffened as the metal ghosted over my skin.
I ignored it and looked up at him through my eyelashes, my cheeks rosy, “You make me feel special just by the way you look at me.” It was true, more than he’d ever know. With him, I felt like I mattered. That I wasn’t a complete failure.

Michael makes me so mad in this fanfic, I've never wanted to break my laptop that much in my life lol !!! And at the beginnig she was making me so mad believing all his stupid lies but now I'm really starting to like her. She's just a naive girl and she really needs get up and " put her Big Girl pants on" as Dr. Sheridan said. And after all this she still believes that she has a future with Michael but thank God mothers exist.
