Sorry for the delay. Life is insane. Now, before I comment on the chapter itself:
She went to the Harbour Restaurant and had chicken?!? I think Malania needs an intervention. I mean, the seafood is too good to pass there. The Harbour Salad is drool worthy. Salmon = salad?
I'm beside myself. The chicken.
I like how this chapter is long, but feels short. I sat back thinking, "what a lovely 'light' chapter" only to have to click back to check the word count. So often a lot happens in a chapter in a low word count, and it feels overwhelming/unrealistic. Or a little happens in a high word count, and it feels like a yawn. Here you straddle a good length quite well: enough action, not excessively corny (or worse, a play on poetic!), and just the right amount of 'heartwarming'.
Now, I think the sign for me that something is about to go down is that Malania asked for wine. Someone is nervous! And Michael commenting about marrying her? That doesn't surprise me; at the same time, her reaction was perfect. As someone who began as a fan and has had such a bumpy ride with him, it's both time for him to start saying things like that and completely natural for her to respond with such surprise. Beautifully done, as usual.

Hmmm, good food, good wine...I think it will help Malania unwinde and let go of her fears and trauma...There is always a turning point when you leave trauma behind and move on and enjoy life to the full. I think this is the moment for Malania.

I was having a fit full sleep and just decided sleep was not going to be my friend till I actually had to get up. So I'm up in here to get my fix!!!! First of all. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH You're baaaacckkkkk. I'm cheesing like a damn Cheshire Cat. I literally smiled from beginning to end. I just love how things were settled between them. They had that renewed comfortabilty and yet it seemed so much more intimate.

In my experience men never want to say vagina. They can barely get it out, XD I imagine Michael would have had many names for it. I'm however a big fan of using that entire word as often as I can to make as many people as I can feel discomfort.
