Gee it does sound like neither Sam / Michael truly want the divorce, perhaps they merely need time away from each other...
However if Michael carries on with his sadistic side then maybe it's best for Sam to be out the picture. I really don't know because Michael does seem pretty hurt, even if he's cursing and stating he don't need her.

Poor Sam.. She obviously loves Michael but she conflicted. I don't think she wants a divorce and Michael's whining, crazy ass doesnt want one either. As much shit as he's talkin, that's just hurt comin out cuz his ass doesn't mean any of it. He knows damn well he wants Sam. I know one thing, he needs to stop drinking. With him already havin a few screws loose, alcohol will only exacerbate his issues.

I know I'm probably the only person who feels this way, but I think Sam overreacted and Michael just acted out of pain because he felt his wife had betrayed him by leaving him. He is taking a lot of crap at work right now and I just feel that Sam should have been more understanding and supportive. Yeah he lashed out at her, but she did push him over the edge by leaving him to begin with. I just hope Michael recovers from this before he loses everything else he holds dear in his life. He needs a more understanding and supportive woman in his life. Maybe it would even help him change his ways if he could get what he needed from her. Sam is way too conservative when it comes to sex and Michael? Well he is a man and men have needs. Anyway great chapter I look forward to the next one!
Author's Response: You make a good point Annie, I too feel like Michael lashed out because he was already really upset and betrayed by his wife. It makes sense because if someone upsets you and you see them again later on you're much more likly to lash out at them since you already have built up anger. Michael is a dumb ass! Point blank period. Poor Sam. She's not perfect but she is the one person in this whole story who genuinely cared about Michael and loved him. She put up with a lot of his shit, and he had the nerve to talk to her like that?! Is he trying to run her off? Because that's exactly what he's done. I hope he's miserable in that house alone every night. He has no one but himself to blame for this. If Sam ever comes back, she needs to make him work his narrow ass off to prove he's deserving of her. I can't believe he spoke to her like that.. Smh. I hope he cries his damn eye sockets out. Sam said some pretty harsh things, but they were warranted. Everything she said was right. She's been a good wife and I feel bad for her. I wonder if they're over for good..

He wasn't going to sit back and take it so he retaliated. Sam's not perfect but shes trying her best.
