She was his best friend.

Addison "Addie" is beautiful, confident, and best friends with one of the most recognizable celebrities on the planet.  Friends since childhood, Addison knows Michael better than anyone else and both share a love of family, a passion for writing and music, and a committment to each other despite Michael's hectic schedule and Addie's various charitable committments.  

Taken by surprise, Addison realizes that her feelings for Michael have grown deeper than a mutual respect and deep rooted friendship and Addison is caught off guard, unable to digest it.  Over time Addison's other best friend, Megan, convinces Addison to share with Michael how she feels and Addison works up the courage to speak to him, only to be devastated to learn that Michael has formed a relationship with another woman, Brooke Shields, and only sees her as a friend stating that he could only date somebody like her, because she was not his type.

Devastated, the self confidence Addison has felt is shattered, and unbeknownst to Michael Addison embarks on a journey of self hatred, depression, and uncertainity. 

What will happen when Addison develops an eating disorder to become thinner, hoping that she can win Michael's heart?  How will Michael react when he realizes he unknowningly hurt his closest friend, and will he find out in time to help Addison to overcome her eating disorder before irreprable damage is done to her body? 

If Addison and Michael form a relationship will she be able to overcome the fear and insecurity that has taken root in her heart and be able to weather a relationship that is scrutinized constantly by the public eye?

Two lifestyles crash into each other and make an effort to stay close. As close as possible.
