That's all it took to tear little Michael's world and heart in two. 

However, perhaps it was fate. Perhaps luck. Perhaps it was a mere coincidence Michael is reunited with exactly whom he longed to see after all these years. But intentions and desires aren't the same as they were in kindergarten, and Michael might be in for more than he can handle...

Okay, so I like to write short stories and I thought why not make a little section for some short stories? So, here it is! The short stories I write will be posted here. Each short story is it's own chapter. The rating for the short story will be in the chapter notes at the beginning of each chapter so you know if you want to read it or not. I'm going to make it a round robin so that if you have your own short story you can post it here too if you want to! If you do choose to post a story in here, PLEASE don't forget to rate the story! Put the rating in the chapter notes and a quick summary! Also, the short stories can't take up numerous chapters! It's one chapter per story! So if your short story has numerous chapters, then it doesn't go here. It can be as long as you want though. Make it 10 000 words if you want, I don't care, as long as it's one chapter.

I've rated this thing R because I'm not sure what to rate it and I figured that since R is the highest rating that one of these short stories can get, I decided to rate it that. I hope that made sense. It doesn't really matter but I just want to mention that just because this is rated R doesn't mean that all of them are rated R! So just ignore the R rating for this... just pay attention the the ratings in the chapter notes.

Each and every one of these wonderful authors have contributed a story to this little short story posting place and each one of their stories I have read and I've absolutely ADORED them! Even if you don't like my writing, at least check out theirs, because all of these authors deserve it XD They each brought something different to the table (or the round-robin if you will) and that's what really makes this thing so fantastic! Someone, somewhere once decided that we should all be the same.

Someone, somewhere came to the conclusion that some of us are strange.

Someone, somewhere decided that strange was an illness.

At the age of 13 you’re either pronounced strange or normal. If you’re normal, you go to school, live with your family, and take part in activities just like anyone else.

If you’re strange then you’re taken away from you family and forced to live in a compound with other people that are strange just like you. You stay there until you’re cured or until the day you turn 18. If by 18 you’re still strange then it’s decided that there’s no hope for you and you’re executed.

Michael was deemed strange.

It’s been four years and he’s still not better.

His 18th birthday and those of his friends are coming up, and time’s running out...

Michael was always a goodie-two-shoes; he was a straight-A student, volunteered at the community center, tutored younger kids, and stayed away from the drugs.

But that all changes after he’s found guilty of a crime he didn’t commit...

His teachers hate him. His peers shun him. His family disowns him.

The court forces him to go to a boarding school for other delinquents like himself to learn his lesson. He’s all on his own.

Being such a good student, he tries to keep a good attitude at the school, but it gets increasingly harder when his roommate, Marilyn, turns out to be straight from the nut house!

Michael soon learns that Marilyn is absolutely Hell bent on dragging Michael into his world of women, drugs, sex, violence, and alcohol. Marilyn keeps Michael trapped in his universe; Michael wants out, and fast!

But then he meets a girl, and everything changes.

Michael changes. Marilyn changes.

Getting out now seems like a bitter-sweet option to Michael, and his world is turned upside down as he continues to explore the reality of a rebel, and begins to enjoy it...

It's been four years since Peyton and Michael have last seen each other and a lot has changed. Neither know what to expect, and when they finally meet up again there are definitely some shockers.

But that's just the problem! Throughout their adventures together as teens and being trapped in a house in the middle of nowhere with JJ, Michael couldn't help but develop feelings for Peyton! And to learn now that she's getting married...

But soon enough more problems begin to unfold and their lives are turned upside down! Different emotions are playing at their hearts, and neither of them are sure what to do now.

Being in love isn't easy, and it's definitely going to take it's toll.

Aina has just moved from Europe to LA, and is having a hard time with the English language...

Thankfully, she meets language instructor, Michael...

But will Michael become more than just her language instructor?

Could he possibly become her tongue instructor as well?

I've already decided that this story will be 3 chapters long, so yeah.
