Summary:

On June 27, 1999, Michael Jackson was performing in a charity benefit concert in Munich Germany. Towards the end of his performance tragedy struck when there was a malfunction with a cable snapped causing him to fall 50 feet. After sustaining serious injuries, he was stabilized then transferred to the States where he had multiple surgeries to mend his battered and broken body.  In his depressed state he has become the patient no one can handle.

Jo Quinn is a traveling, tough as nails, Physical Therapist who has been assigned the hardest cases across the country because of her take no prisoners attitude. She jumped at the opportunity to return to where her roots are, move back to New England and take on the special case that no one in the agency wanted. 

Will she be the one to finally fight back and help him help himself? Will he finally heal his physical and mental wounds? Can she be the one to finally see him for who he really is and allow him to be himself and get the care he needs? Afterall, he's only human and has his faults just like everyone else.
