~The Next Morning~

Michael woke up and checked on McKayla, who was still sleeping.

"Well, she's a heavy sleeper" Michael thought

He gently shook her to get up

"Wake up sleepy head" Michael said softly

She slowly opened her eyes and stared at Michael

"Morning kiddo, time to get ready for the day" he said cheerfully

McKayla just yawned. So, Michael picked her up out of the dresser door and changed her diaper and clothes

"At least she's a quiet baby" Michael thought

Michael heard a small giggle and looked down at baby McKayla who was all smiles

"And giggly" Michael then said out loud

There was a knock and Michael turned around

"Who is it?" Michael questioned

"Your mother" the voice behind the door answered

Michael opened his door and saw his mother standing there with a baby bottle filled with baby formula in it

"She's probably hungry" Katherine said handing Michael the baby bottle

Michael took the bottle and went over to McKayla, picked her up, and put the bottle in her mouth. His mother was right, she was pretty hungry.

"What do you think the family will think of this?" Michael asked

"Well, I'm sure your brother's and sister's will love her, but I'm not so sure about your father" Katherine said

"I already know Joseph is not going to like her" Michael said

Katherine went up to Michael and put her hand on his shoulder

"You leave Joseph to me" she said

Michael smiled and hugged his mother

"Thank you" he said

"You're welcome Hun" Katherine replied

Katherine left closing the door behind her and Michael turned all his attention back to McKayla

"The media can't find out about you...this will be hard, but we can do it" Michael said to McKayla. Michael picked McKayla up and went downstairs. When he went out to the dining room he saw a baby chair, then his mother walked out from the kitchen

"Hand me my grandbaby and go out to the shed and get what you need to take care of her" she said

Michael nodded and handed Katherine baby McKayla then went outside to get what he needed for McKayla. While Michael was in the shed he heard a car pulling up, so Michael walked out holding a piece of the crib that was in there and saw it was Joseph with some man

"Uh-oh..." Michael mumbled

He quickly gathered the rest of the crib and ran to the back door. He slowly opened it and poked his head in and made sure it was safe for him to go in. once he did that he quickly made it to his room and closed the door quietly.

Then, the yelling began.

"WHERE IS THAT BOY?!" he heard Joseph yell

"Joseph! Leave him alone!" he then heard his mother yell

"He can't afford to have baby! It could ruin his career! What if the media finds out! It could ruin him!" Joseph yelled angrily

"Joe. He's a grown man. He can take care of a child and his career. You didn't say this about the others. What makes him so special?" Katherine said

After that there was silence. Michael took this silence as a good thing. He slowly opened his door and peaked in the hallway to make sure it was safe. He quickly made his way downstairs and outside to get the rest of what he needed to take care of his child.
