wow a huge timeskip. is it going to be back and forth between the flashbacks? it is a little confusing and fast to me. I thought there would be a few chapters as they grow as friends then the time skip but that's just me. overall I didn't know that small fact you pointed out another clue learnt and well as we know michael will be with her all along the way. hopefully this turn of events won't be too distracting for her career ^^

It will be back and fourth, because she's writing a book based on certain memories she's kept close to her since Michael passed away. But anytime I do a time skip, I make sure to include the dates and locations (If location is possible, as I'll be focusing on actual events that took place in Michael and my character's life.) I'm still trying to decide if I want them to remain friends or to turn their friendship into a relationship. Usually any story I've written, Michael and the main character end up together, but I'm trying a new approach as I've had this idea for years now and just never wrote about it. She got quite the shock when she found out Frank was MJ. lol Blanket knows Alexis , That is great. I know Blanket's Mom is a mystery to us but I often wonder if he does know her or is in contact with her for real. It would be nice if he did.

Lol, at first I wanted to write her knowing she was meeting up with MJ, but then I decided not to. I figured it would be more funny to make her look clueless, lol. Blanket would've known Alexis either way, just because Alexis and Michael were very close. You'll learn more about that as the story goes on. I used to wonder who Blanket's mother was, but then I quit worrying about it. I figured if Michael had wanted us to know, we would. Thank you for your review!

hm not a bad start. she met mj when she was a teen? hm i think they will get together when she's at least in her twenties or so. perhaps after when mj and debbie break up. I didn't keep up to date in his personal life. but i agree with all michael said to her because you can tell on stage he went by what he said at the time. hopefully she will get off her shine soon cause three years and no album? fishy to me lol. don't be too slow lol.

She met MJ when she was 18, turning 19. I meant to add that, because she says she's 19, lol. I forgot I'd set the story in January, before her birthday in 1998. I'm happy you pointed that out so I could fix it. Her life is based on one of my favorite singer's life. The singer was signed to LaFace records in 1995 as a trio R&B group, they had recorded an album, but LA Reid ended up deciding to not release it and give her the option of going solo and having a career or staying shelved and in the group. She ended up going solo, and becoming one of the biggest selling artists in the world, lol. I'm trying not to give too many details in the story at the very beginning which is why I haven't dabled onto that topic too much yet.

Your words literally gave me goose bumps! I don't much like to read stories that depict Michael as not here anymore. In my own little world he is still very much alive and anything to remind me that he isn't just brings tears to my eyes. (Happens everytime, still) Anyways, this looks like it will be very promising and also hard to read at the same time. Looking forward to your updates.
