It's funny, it'd been a while but jut last night I decided to reread this whole story (along with She Gave Her Angels). And then just now I was trying to think of a really good, well-written fanfic that I could read, and who should update but you?
Lol, well it was exquisite as usual. I love the way you choose to focus on each of the different characters and really creating the tone rather than on the romance alone; it's all so lovely and truly original. I love this story so much and its quickly becoming one of my very favorites.
Please don't keep us waiting so long for the next update this time. Of course quality takes time, but I can't wait to read what happens next.

Wow. Michael was not playing. I feel bad for Monique she was simply enjoying herself and being nice. Though she may have liked August, she knew her heart lied with Michael. Having his background and experiences of women I guess Michael just couldn't risk losing her, thus letting everyone know she was his. Great chapter!!

I love the way you build up the plot and its characters. Of course I would've preferred a chapter dedicated to Michael and Monique, but I suppose August had to step in for a bit.
I get the sense that there is much more to Michael and his past life than has been hinted at in the past. And even during his time in jail. I imagine that whatever we may guess out will only just brush the surface of all the things he's been through and how it's altered him. Poor thing.

I can't express enough how much I dislike Big Daddy! He thought August was wierd and strange? He should know since he's such a creep. Personally, I find August kinda charming. Coming in there with flowers and sweet words... this man is giving Michael a run for his money. And I think Michael knows this... lmao
As for Michael, well he just couldn't help himself could he? ;P He's got it bad. But I hope Jane doesn't snitch. I really don't want him to be locked up again but if he did happen to kill the guy... well damn that's the end of it. I can't bear for these two to be seperated again!

So I've passed up this story a couple times before, but I stmbled on it this time and I am so glad I did!
Your writing is so passionate and creative. I love the way you chose to present the characters, showcasing development of young love with Monique's coming-of-age. I think it was great and that Michael did not reenter the picture a second too soon. I'm excited to see where you continue to take this story and how Michael and Monique's love will blossom.

Ugh, Michael needs to learn to stay away from trouble! He just got back and we certainly don't need a repeat of last time. And besides, beating a WHITE man into a bloody pulp can get him some serious time in prison. Jesus, he needs to control himself and his anger cause right now he ain't such a smooth criminal if he keeps getting caught.
